Hello All,
Welcome back! I wanted to talk today about how I figure out how many plants to actually grow every year. There are many ways people decide (or don’t decide), but this is how I narrow in on an optimal number for our family. I hope it helps some of you who are struggling to decide or have never grown before and really have no idea where to start.

Crikey, what an enlightened approach to produce gardening. You rock. Having followed this type of gardening for years now, I have to wonder how all these beautiful plants managed to grow without fussy human intervention. At least, that is how many professional gardeners and YT channel folks can make the process look…aka, complicated and difficult. This is why your philosophy and processes are so refreshing. Thank you. Cheers, Ardith
Maybe consider more edible flowers this year if you are focused on food production? 🌻Out of 8 years, I've had one good corn season. I decided to quit trying to grow corn. As for tomatoes, I always tell myself, I'm only going to grow a few select varieties. It never works out. I always end up planting more. 😂😂😂 I have no self control, apparently!
