  1. I want to win the seeds to see if they are different from the ones that my neighbor is growing. She brought them from Panama.

  2. OK, Petrina, this video made me jittery…SOOOOO much to do! You got a whole new bed in, your established beds are looking great, and you are talking summer plant starts, while I am playing with seed trays of lettuce. What???!!! And gotta trim and feed all the fruit trees. LOL! Talk about a kick to the backside.
Thank you for the list of your favorite varieties at the top – handy reference guide for those of us who want the specifics, but don't want to play back every video hunting for those nuggets.
No need for Roselle seeds for me this year, thanks. I still have seeds from the St Kitt & Nevis variety (Southern Exposure) as well as my own saved, and got the Thai Roselle (Southern Exposure, again, though Elise at Urban Harvest also offers) to try. My plants got so infested by aphids and scale so hoping the Thai might hold up better. Plus, two of the 5 Roselle plants I overwintered, survived the frosts we had, and are trying to put out leaves. So, knock on wood, I am going to see if I can get a May flush as well as the winter harvest this year, and actually make something.

  3. I keep trying to start seeds that will do well in Central Florida I have bought many various ones but have not heard of these seeds would love to give it a try. I have been watching all your videos and getting some really great tips thank you for your videos!!! Have an amazing day. 13:57

  4. I need the seeds because I have never tried them lol. A new challenge. The more you know the more you grow.

  5. When do you recommend planting Luffas and Seminole squash? Thank you for so much information and help. I really enjoy your channel.

  6. I have never grown roselle but I would love to try! I am kind of new at gardening so I am always experimenting, and I love doing it!

  7. Being very aware of sun exposure during different times of the year is so important. Before planning a garden do your due diligence in observation.

I am not in need of ‘Jamaican sorelle’ rosella, already bought them after researching Florida growing. Appreciate the videos as always. ❤
Especially what to plant and/or start now as i think many folks in Florida are ‘transplants’ from traditional growing zones it’s helpful to those that are learning.
(By the way your spinach should be started by seed in your greenstalk now) they love cold weather and shade even. Mine are never ending joy for us. 😂
I hope you replanted your Barbados cherry tree to capture more sun.

  8. Is Roselle susceptible to root knot nematodes? I got seeds from Urban Harvest when I ordered my PR Black Beans😂 I planned to dedicate raised bed space to them but if they’ll thrive in my sandy yard, I’d love to use the raised bed space for something else. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I’m about an hour south in 10a and learning from locals has kept me excited about this garden journey.

  9. I just found you. I am so glad I did. We are the same zone but I am a little North and East. I am right on the border of 9a and 9b, Northeast of Orlando, tiny town called Geneva. I started my food forest one year ago. It’s not spectacular (yet), I’ve been on a budget. I’ve been wanting to add a Roselle for the vitamin C boost tea since my few Citrus has just turned into space taker uppers. Thank you for your give aways. What a nice treat! :-)… now to go back and watch your other videos.

  10. I would love to add roselle seeds to my ever growing seed collection! Hoping to add to my tea garden and trying out the cranberry recipes.

  11. Also I am looking for a source of Puerto Rican seeds if anyone can help me with this, I would appreciate it!

  12. Would love to grow roselle. We use the sour leaves in cooking and the flowers are beautiful. Thanks for giveaway.
