  1. Love your videos and don't mind at all if you go over 10 min. Very interested in dwarf heirloom tomatoes, I'll have to research that a bit more.

  2. Nice! The ostrich ferns are beautiful. I’d love to see an episode of you out on the water with your glasses on! Longer or more episodes are always welcome 🤗

  3. This is a great series! So helpful , educational and straightforward! You offer what some other content creators do not. The fact that you are a master gardener gives yo so much credibility! Thank you , Erin!

  4. Love the postcards! I'm not sure I'll have one to share but appreciate those who do. And 10 minutes, 15, 20, it's all good. These are valuable videos.

  5. Can you talk about how you use your pop up greenhouse to harden off seedlings? Is the process different/easier than without a greenhouse?

    Love your channel!! ❤

  6. 30 minutes would be great! Cutter bees nibble on many of my plant leaves every year, they create little works of art😻. Once I knew who the artist was, no worries😉.

  7. Love the short informative Q & A!! Question: Is it possible to spread any flower seeds on top of snow in late winter and have them bloom in the spring or summer? Is it possible to do this with poppies or zinnias or Columbine? Live in the Rocky Mountain area zone 6a but usually cautiously plant for zone 5. Usually 100°F in July and August often slightly hotter.

  8. Agree with all below – 10 (or 15, 20 minute) Q&A – bring it! Any advice on rabbit and/or insect control??? I love you. Would you be mine? Could you be mine? Won't you be my neighbor???

  9. Erin, if you have never been to Giverny in September, the colorful display is a huge collection of dahlias! I have never seen so many dahlias in a garden, all different colors, shapes and sizes. A visit with my daughter is where she fell in love with dahlias. You would love it.

  10. Did dwarf tomatoes last season based on your recommendation. All the taste with smaller footprint.

  11. Love that you said our gardens aren't just for us. When I see birds, squirrels, rabbits, all kinds of insects, it helps me to feel I might be doing something right in providing a beautiful, bountiful place for myself and habitat for other species. Would you ever purchase a permanent greenhouse? If so, would you want it to stand alone or attach it somehow to your home?

  12. I don't have a postcard to send to you, but you need to go online and view Gibbs Gardens in Georgia. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! We visited one time. I could have stayed for days. If you're headed to the Atlanta area a definite stop. They do close during the winter – the Gibbs family still lives there!!

  13. My question for future videos: How do you deal with clematis wilt? I have a beautiful double lavender type 2 clematis left by the previous owner, but I have only ever seen one bloom on it in 5 years because of clematis wilt. Is it hopeless?

  14. Erin, I love that your 10-minute Q&A goes over 10 minutes! I have a question: Does the Deer Stopper 2 also help to repel rabbits and squirrels? ❓If not, do you have any suggestions for those pests? 🐰🐿😕

  15. Maui, Jim polarized glasses are recommended by my eye doctor. They are quite an investment, but well worth it. I’m challenged with dry eye and blue eyes that are so sensitive to the sun. Everyone should protect your eyes.

  16. Sigh. I shake my fist at squirrels, and now I think, "At least I don't have deer." I feel so lucky I have yard waste pickup where I can discard anything I don't want to put in my home compost. They have hot composting, which kills weed seeds.

  17. Thanks for all your inspiration and education. I started growing dahlias a couple years ago after watching your channel. Dahlia question…have you ever dealt with dahlia buds browning and drying up before they open? Could this be from cucumber beetle? Any suggestions?

  18. Hi
Love Q&A Everyone talks about deer I moved to a beautiful area. Never saw so many rabbits they eat all my coneflowers down to nobs help !!!

  19. Love this Erin, 10 mins seems short but hey, I'm sure you're a busy gal. We'll take what we can get, I really appreciate all you do for us out here in youtube land!

  20. I love the idea of the postcards. My sister and I have several arboretum trips planned this year; so we will make sure to send you cards!

  21. Hi Erin, When I pulled apart my annual containers in the late fall, I was amazed and excited to see the size of the sweet potato vine tubers. I stored them with my other tubers and hope to replant them in the spring. Is this possible and can I divide them by eyes? Thanks. You are delightful!

  22. I just looked up my county ag office and they charge $42.00 to test the soil!! That seems pretty high, but with the cost of plants, I still think I will do that. It makes me crazy if the plants don't do well and I spend alot of money on them. Thanks for all of the info and love the channel!

  23. Love your channel. It's my favorite. Will you be doing your plants of the year video again? I refer back to the previous ones regularly.

  24. You need to block Danny Miller 4404 he's a troll. If you pull up his comment history all he does is keep asking people if he can ask them a question. some people goodness

  25. Hi Erin, love this concept. I have a question, I have a lot of hellebores in one of my shady beds. Over the years it seems the bed is getting lower and needs to be brought to a higher level with more soil. They don’t like their roots tampered with, but would it be safe to pull them up add more soil to the bed and plop them back in? or should I just not worry about it? You’re faithful follower!

  26. Thank you for advocating for the leaf cutter bees. I love when I see their little munches out of the plants. They don't do any actual damage to the plant and they are so beneficial.

  27. Can we maybe extend the Q&A to 15 minutes? I love them! My question is. Do you ever deal with boxwood leaf miner? If yes what’s the best approach to treat organically?

  28. Thank you for your fun, intelligent, and thoughtful responses to our questions, Erin. I am wondering about soil testing. Do I take a sample from different areas of my garden for this? I’ve thought about doing it but have never followed through. I think this year I’ll bite the bullet.

  29. Did I catch something in a post a few years ago about jumping worms in your garden? I haven’t heard you mention them recently, but I’d love to hear your experience as I recently discovered them and am quite devastated about my gardening outlook for the future.

  30. QUESTION. What has happened to the Purple Bell Vine that you tried to winter over? QUESTION. Did you plant the Purple Hyacinth Bean last year?

  31. Hi Erin – re: the pitfalls of plants being too wet – I live in a flat-ish area on a mountain in 6A NE Penn – parts of my yard hold water if heavy and/or many days rain – any suggestions on plants to tolerate this or would it be better to consider other solutions to the water (e.g. drainage or re-grading)? Thx for all the great vids!
