Aloe Aculeata also known as ‘Ngopanie’ or ‘Red Hot Poker Aloe’ is an aloe species native to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It’s often sold as a succulent in garden centres in small containers just like mine.

We will learn more about the Aloe Aculeata plant and discover some of its benefits for gardening! We will discuss the different types of aloe, how to grow aloe, how to use aloe in gardening, and more down the line.

It’s a lovely little houseplant that has the potential to grow very big in the right conditions. Later on in the year, we will be potting it on into a bigger container for further growth.
