  1. That's amazing! Please do in depth video on the excel spreadsheet you discussed

  2. I love how organised you are!! I planned on being organised this past growing season and it seriously alllll went out the window! With some of the additional growing knowledge I’ve gained and taking ideas from your seeding schedule, I think it will help me be in a much better place for the next season.
Love these planning videos and if you have anymore good tips, please share!

  3. Love this! After you plant your seeds, do you keep them segregated by date in the plastic holders or add them all back in together?

  4. This information helped me a bunch, I couldn’t figure out when to start seeds so I started them all at the same time which was a disaster. OMG thank you. Not confused anymore. I think I did over complicated it all. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Oh! I like this method! 6:33…you sort by seed starting date, not type of seed! Brilliant. Definitely going to switch to this method this year. Saves not being able to find all the seeds you want to start that day. Love it! Thank you!

  6. If someone else was starting your seeds for you, would they know you to make soil blocks the way you make them? Do you have a certain “recipe” you’ve settled on or are you still experimenting? I’d be very interested to know what you put in your soil blocks. I’m still figuring this soil recipe thing out. I have 2 sizes of blockers…a mini blocker and “4 in a row.”

  7. I too like to be organized. However, as I organized my seeds today, I happened to check my last frost date, and it's different then it has been. Does that seem odd? I'm in 9B CA, and for the last 5 yrs, I've known that the LFD is 4/15. Today, the Almanac said 3/8! I've only been gardening 5 yrs., so I wanted to ask, do last frost datas vary that much? over 4 weeks? Thank you. I enjoy your videos 🙂

  8. Where do you get the organizer board in the greenhouse? Ty. My first year to try. Going to put in longterm too like asparagus, berries, etc. Scared but excited too. Thanks for your help.

  9. Wow, I’m impressed! I love a good system that works. Grabbing my seeds and starting tonight. Thanks for the idea.

  10. I ordered your book and am excitedly waiting to receive it. I’m hoping you describe this system in your book.

Sometimes when I’m organizing farm tasks my head spins. Hubby and I watched your video together tonight, and agreed that your system will really help us.

We plan to grow vegetables only for ourselves, but grow herb plant starts and dry herbs for local sales year round. I think your system will really help us!

  11. Does harvest date factor into your system and if you have transplants how do you track when they are ready to go outside?

  12. Thanks for sharing your system — I am a home gardener and I plant a lot of veg and flowers in the house since our season is very short. It seems every year I forget to start some of the things I want to grow until it is too late. I am getting my seeds out now so I can start planning mine.
