  1. I'm using the smaller but not pocket size Target Day Designer weekly planner. I used it all last year and picked up a new one for this year. I just love it. Paired with a cheap notebook for running to do's and meeting notes, it's the little planner that could.

  2. work is mostly digital, but i still need paper planning tor myself + team. I use initials when tracking other folks. i spent the last two years in disc planners, one for home, one for work. this year i moved both into my big ring planner because it became a pain in the neck to track in two places.

  3. I've been using a classic HP for a while now. I've been wanting to try a bound book planner for work. I might at some point just for grins but what I'm using is working sooooo 🤷🏿‍♀️🤣

  4. I have used the large Recollections horizontal planner for the past 2 yrs and I loved it. It was big and the horizontal layout was just enough for me to write down my weekly tasks. And the monthly view was big enough to keep up with staff PTO. They discontinued it and I about spiraled!! I settled on the big happy planner horizontal for this year because horizontal worked for me and it's big enough to keep up with tasks with my new position. Luckily I got it on sale. I like it I guess. I bought metal discs to put on it because some of the plastic ones were broke when it was delivered.

  5. When I worked in management, we had to use the sitewide scheduling system (outlook) but I was always a paper planner. Most of the years I used the trusty Franklin Covey system with an A5 leather binder and monthly/daily on two pages inserts. I always had favorite pens, but back then, I would use whatever I could get my hands on. It seems so funny to me now, considering how I’ll throw a mini tantrum if I can’t find my 03 uni pin fineliner when it’s time to plan in my hobo cousin!! My how times have changed. I really love that you are using that planner from Target, it looks nice, and I think I want to check it out. The paper looks nice and white, I really liked the daily layout, and you are so right about having lined monthly boxes! Great video Julie ❤😘

  6. I'm not working at the moment as I am a full time student again. I use a hobonichi cousin to balance my home, school, and family's schedule. It works well for us!

  7. My work planner for 2023 is the Take A Note planner. It’s what I used in 2022 as well. I recently shared a flip of my 2022 and my 2023 setup. I love the Take A Note ❤

  8. I couldn’t agree with you more, I tried using EC teacher planner last year, and I found my self missing tasks or when employee were out of office. This year I went back to HP big size. I am a practice manager and I have weekly, monthly reports and tasks and change often, the big size give me a lot of space to write, also I can just punch my meeting agenda and put it right in my planner. Helps me stay organized. I know it January but I feel better being back in my old faithful planner it works for me

  9. I started using the amplify planner this year for work and it's been really great! I'm very pleased with how much more productive I feel. I was just using a notebook but I felt like I was missing things. I do like the idea of the day designer so I may end grabbing one for when this planner ends because it's just quarterly. But we'll see!

  10. The Hobonichi Cousin is my everything planner! The weekly pages are my command center for work. I use the daily pages as a scratch pad and for journaling. The monthly spreads are for keeping track of travel, my kids’ school schedules, and personal events.

  11. I'm also in HR and use a daily. The best one for me is the EC daily duo. I like the A5 size. It doesn't take up too much room on my desk. And they have the weekend days separate. I work retail HR so I dont have Saturday and Sunday off. I also will have to work 6 day work weeks on occasion. So having each day is very helpful. I used a small day designer the 1st year but had to redate it when I worked a weekend day and had to change stuff around when it was a 6 day week.

  12. Thanks for sharing, I wouldn’t be able to share the details of my work planner on social media either. I have always used a paper planner for work for the longest I used the Franklin Covey 2 pages per day. I ended 2022 using that same notebook, but because I often have a lot of meetings any given day I needed something with a little more structure. So I have started of the year using my Hobonichi Cousin for work and personal in conjunction with EC productivity planner, which would be perfect if it had more productivity pages.

  13. I've just ordered an A5 Erin Condren softbound in "in bloom" for my new job.

  14. I started 2023 using the c&p spiral horizontal as well. Since it came in the sub box I was excited to have my work planner figured out. Although it’s beautiful it’s just not working for how I need it to for my job. Daily is really where it’s at when it comes to work planning for me. There’s just not enough room for my busy days of meetings, tasks and notes in a weekly A5 size. I have an EC daily duo for Jan-June 2023 that I have left over from last year’s release so I’ll be using that for now but may have to check out Target mid year. I love that the Day Designer has a whole year in one book.

  15. Hi Julie, new subscriber here. Do you keep this work agenda at work or bring home other than for this video? Love your videos ☺️

  16. I'm using an Erin Condren A5 softbound planner in the horizontal layout. I'm using it to mark holidays, paydays, and daily tasks. I marked out the Saturday and Sunday dates each week with whiteout tape and use it to write important tasks that need to happen that week, or to write down new tasks that come up during meetings. It's been a great tool so far and it's the first time I'm using a work planner.

  17. I work in HR too. So I don't show my work planner once I start adding confidential information in it. Have a wonderful week 🤗

  18. Hi Julie! I also work in HR and very hesitant when I want to show my work planner. I couldn’t do the rings. So I bought a planner from Amazon. I decided to use a coil 7×9 planner because I want to reference my old planners. And it works perfectly for me. And I really do adore that day designer planner so much.
