  1. I’m not used to seeing the outside layout look like that so that was unique. The inside looked nice. My recommendation is to just use a room for your office (a house with an actual office vs using an extra bedroom is a plus) to do vlogging and gaming and have a normal sized garage. Also, unless you make tons of money or have a lot saved up for one person to pay for a house will make you house poor (depending on the amount of course) and that will make you stressed, so only get what you know you can comfortably afford. Good luck! It’s fun to watch you on this journey!

  2. It is a joke that you even looked at that house! As if you need 3 bedrooms. You definitely don't need an outdoor kitchen because you don't cook and you don't entertain. The room in the garage is a joke. It is too small and ruins use of the garage for parking your car. Who wants a house in Florida with no pool and no room for one. I see that you don't swim much but it is good to have when friends come over. I bet you cannot even afford that home for what they are ssking!

  3. I dont know how you got the idea that ALL houses in FL have back allies but they DON'T Maybe its just Orlando or the areas you are looking in being so BIG they designed it that way?

  4. Excellent video and Mike looks like he is awesome to work with. I am beginning my own venture into the Orlando housing market in search for a vacation/short term rental property so it's good to see the experiences of others and read the comments to your videos from those who have been through, or are going through the same process. Look forward to more house hunting videos!!! Enjoy your break!!

  5. Not all homes on Florida are like how you describe (like rear driveway and near the neighbor's.) That normal for bigger cities like Orlabdo. Not the s ta te as a whole.

  6. Turn that garage back into a two car garage. You don’t need to escape your house to edit because you will be living alone. You need the entire garage space for your car and extra storage. Trust me – you can NEVER have enough storage space especially in Florida where there aren’t basements. $630,000 for a 2,100 square foot home seems crazy expensive.

  7. We bought our first home last year, it's a super exciting process but take your time with it. Learn comps in the area, what you can get for your money, and what you really value. If you aren't being forced to move, that time is going to be a luxury. Don't settle just because you're excited and eager to be a homeowner. No garage would have personally been a deal breaker for me and that deff would lessen the value of the house.
Also make sure you know what is coming with the house and what doesn't, while its not common, sometimes sellers will take appliances, lights, blinds etc.

  8. for me the Garage not being usable is a BIG NO WAY especially seeing this before the rest of the house.

  9. Kyle, you mention in general some things on your 'must have' and 'wish list' peppered on your channel, but might be helpful to explicitly lay those out for us as you take us through this process, A la House Hunters. Many comments here are about what folks want for THEIR house, not yours. One final piece of advice I'm sure many have said: remember this isn't your dream house, it's your first house. Prioritize value for resale…but don't forget to also keep in mind extras and fun stuff for sure. But you'll be reselling before you renovate – I'll take that bet for you in this case. Finally – for folks saying it's ok to have sellers there – that is very very very risky – many cases of violating fair housing laws are out there where the seller was asked lots of questions by the buyers, leading to sellers over commenting on the racial makeup of the neighborhood or telling their agent to not sell to that particular buyer. No risk to you, but good to not complicate the matter. Good Luck in your journey!!!!

  10. Hi Kyle, I’m just joined your channel and I’m excited for you. What a beautiful home, I hope you go back and tour again without the sellers bing there (that really sucks) Were you in Orlando or Windermere because I haven’t seen Alley homes in Orlando (uhm maybe Thornton Park I have). I kept looking at your realtor and said hey that Mr. Collier yep I know your Real Estate Adviser, please tell him Mrs. Curry from Sunset Park said hello. I pray you get the home of your heart desire blessings to you.

  11. Not feeling this house at all. Sorry. No garage. No yard for the dog you want. I really dislike the washer/dryer location in the house. And I love chandeliers, but not any of those. I’m sorry!

  12. That’s an easy no. Don’t go above your means. Keep your check list in mind vs wants and needs. And trust me it’s not cheap cooling down a two story house even with solar panels in Florida. Plus you’ll definitely want a garage for your vehicle especially to keep it protected from the hurricanes.

  13. Think about parking for your guests.
We bought a home that guests have a hard time finding parking when they come. Or if you want to park on the road, people fight for the street parking.

  14. Cleaning those chandeliers would be a nightmare. & no grass or garden space in back yard would be a big no for me. But its beautiful for sure.

  15. Make a list of what things are important to you. All houses will have something you like, but it needs to check the box on the important things. Yard for dog, garage you can actually park in, spare bedroom for vlogging studio, and spare room for family to visit in! We love your family!

  16. There seems to be a lot of odd customization to the current owners. A lot of geometric shapes throughout the house. My guess is 630-650ish

  17. no garage? hmmm. think about if you want to get wet every time you come home when it’s raining. it was a big deal for us with babies. getting them in and out, and carrying them into the house. our garage that leads straight to the house is so great. my wife just brought it up the other day, and we’ve been living here 20 years. it never gets old !!

  18. I've never seen the process of looking for a home turned into such a mentally and emotionally traumatizing event. 4.28 minutes into this I was done. Why do you need strangers to help you decide? Can't you make up your own mind? What is so scary about this? What is making you so nervous? Dude, if you like the home, it's location, the price and mortgage rates for it and if it will fit your needs for the future, buy it. It's as simple as that.

  19. We are looking at houses also and our pet peeve is if the home owners are there. Makes it awkward to actually “look” at the house. Happy Hunting!!

  20. Omg that’s my old rental subdivision in Winter Garden!!!😮 you should move there it’s a great area!😊

  21. I think it was rude that the homeowners didn’t leave. Very awkward. I think it’s very nice but seems like there’s too much space in some areas and not enough in others. The garage room is cool but if you’re going to spend that much you should be able to keep your car protected from the sun. You could easily have your office inside the house. I think you should keep looking. Something that big and two story I would expect to have more bedrooms. Also sounds like it’s not a comfortable price range for you and you don’t want to be house rich and pocket poor.

  22. Just buy it Kyle!! LOL It looks nice and good for a young guy. I hated it when sellers were around as I was looking. Awkward!!!!

  23. I know that it might be a little early for it to happen when you get your house and yes I'm saying when not if you get your house cuz I believe that you can do anything when you put your heart and mind into it. is your girl moving in with you

  24. I live in California so everything here is expensive I'm guessing the house is between 750k to 1 million

  25. I have a home in NY and Davenport Fl. I think you need to wait longer for market to drop more and interest rates. Master bedroom is too small and you need to fit your car in the garage. If you can alter both to fit your needs then it’s looks great. Never never let anyone know you love a place except Mike you are shooting yourself in the foot. Because you know the seller is looking at this video 😮 so you Can’t negotiate!!!!

  26. Nice house, but has some negatives to me. I like the no grass patio and the outdoor kitchen was beautiful, but I feel you need some grass. The neighbors in this neighborhood are right on top of you. The no parking inside the garage thing would be a deal breaker for me. The vaulted ceilings are dramatic, but I think costly to cool. You should look at a lot of homes before deciding. You should look in neighborhoods without the detached garage. I have to say very few areas near me on the west coast of Florida have these back alley garage entrances. Most neighborhoods have an attached garage in front or the side of the houses. Also, maybe look at some one story houses. My son has a two story townhouse and he spends the majority of the day downstairs…so it feels "smaller" because you aren't going into the other rooms much because they are upstairs.

  27. Dad is going to have LOTS to read! Just think about cooling a 2-story house in central FL in the summer. And the way they built the studio room would make you have to enter the garage through the back even if you could fit your car in there, not the best in bad weather. I'd pass.

  28. I really loved the house and can totally see why you love it! The finishes are amazing! The drawbacks that I forsee being a problem is, obiviously, no where to park in your garage and only 3 bedrooms. I know, you are single, but I am pretty sure you won't be for long. And soon those babies start coming and even if you only had two kids and those two extra rooms would be enough, you have expressed you wanted room for your family when they come down to visit. You will want at least one extra room for guests. As for that studio, you can look for a home with an office and put your studio in there. It's not hard to convert it. Plus the studio can serve double duty as a guest room with a murphy bed. The other downside was the bricked backyard. While it was really pretty, you want a dog and brick isn't great for them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing home tour. More please!

  29. For a house that’s only 3-4 years old, it actually looks a bit dated to me. And as much as the editing suite would be nice, you can use any of the bedrooms for that – having a usable garage to park your car in is way more of a necessary.

Since my wife and I bought our house, my single greatest thing I love is to be able to park in the garage. Comes in clutch on a rainy or cold day.

  30. Pool definitely you need a yard with grass. I wasn’t impressed by what you filmed. Here in Nj 2 nd most expensive state according to numbers for $600 k you get a yard maybe a pool ect keep looking my friend

  31. Why were they there. In NC, I’ve always been told that sellers should never be in the house. And that back drive to enter the garage – it’s in Indian Trail, NC; and now becoming a trend in Raleigh, Garner, Cary, and the surrounding Triangle area. I personally don’t like the closeness, but the back drive may be okay but I live in an old historic neighborhood that has alleys splitting every block in our ‘hood.

  32. Just remember, what they love and the money they put into it, may not be your love and it may not be worth they think it is.
