The presence of clovers in a lawn are an indication of poor nitrogen levels in the soil, and the best way to remove clovers is to introduce nitrogen into the lawn by applying fertilizers, compost or corn gluten weed pre-emergent. I would recommend leaving the clover… it is a nitrogen fixer, and provides endless flowers for the poor bees.
There are enough flowers for the bees in my neighbor's yard. I want my clover gone!
Clover is a good ground cover. It also helps the soil. I have all kinds of stuff in my lawn. Plantains, clover, and grass. Why not leave it? There is this massive obsession with pure green grass. It takes too much unnatural attention to take things out of the yard that are green, like grass is. When it's mowed, looks just fine. Adjust your mower higher, and you will have more control over excessive weeds, and you'll have a healthier lawn. It will look shaggy until it adjusts.
don't listen to this crap —clover gives off NPK If u need to get rid of clover in just a week get a law weed killer with DICUMBA
You didn't specify the desired PH to rid yourself of unwanted clover but you said "adding sulfur" [or acidity] will bring you the correct PH in low PH lawns. What is the desired PH? Below 7, at 7, or above?
Cheers.
Could this guy talk any slower?
Why remove clover from a lawn? Clover used to be part of most lawn seed mixes before the seed companies started to sell herbicides. Kill the clover and then dump nitrogen on the lawn???
I think this guy grow his own weed.
Zzzzzzxxx
he would rather you add carcinegens to your lawn than using the clover to naturaly enhance your grass anything to see you somthing i guess .
I DYNOMITE MINE EVERY FOURTH OF JULY. THAT WAY THE COPS DON'T GET SUSPICIOUS !
I feel asleep around 25 secs in smh
A lawn composed of nothing but grass, and usually a single strain of grass, is as boring as a sunset in a clear, cloudless sky.
Why don't y'all just kill everything and go for astroturf?
This is exactly what I needed. I appreciate the emphasis on removing clover without herbicides. Thank you!
This guy is in the 50's with regard to IQ.
Grow a CLOVER lawn, feed the bees ,the earth, save water ,save gas and pollution by fewer cuts, and SAVE THE PLANET FROM POLLUTION BY TOXIC CHEMICALS,IE NO SPRAYING
Increase the speed too 1.25 and sound good! 😂
Thanks for your input. 👍 Nice to see a natural way of getting the job done. Most people don't want their kids rolling around in 2-4D or Round up or any other chemicals linked to non Hodgkins lymphoma and other cancers.
