Here's my question though. Τhis is a turned based RPG where you control one guy, and the others who don't appear to be there, are still following you and appear when you're in combat, or if you switch between them while wondering. So my question is, when Luffy uses his stretchy powers to travel, how are the others following him? They don't have his abilities.

To defend the whole nerfing characters thing:
While it's annoying narratively, it's basically required on a mechanical level. You can't just "make the enemies stronger", you have to make the player weak in order for them to learn mechanics and systems so they can use more effective tactics against the later enemies. If you just made the enemies stronger by default to keep up with the players, there'd be very little growth throughout the game, since you're starting off near the power cap. Would you really want every encounter in the game to be as basic and simple as the Del Kong fight?
You have to have room to grow so you can learn mechanics and strategies that way later in the game they can throw more engaging battles at you.
Nothing says One Piece like managing crafting supplies

ngl your attitude towards the whole power thing, which is an integral part of the entire story, really ruined what was before that a great video. gamers really need to start doing the slightest amt of due diligence before pre ordering games weve known this was a thing for months now. hope u end up enjoying the game since youve already bought it but man i can finish this video

Hot take this game isn’t fun it’s just the only new one piece game out. We could have two different types of games a arena fighter with a ninja storm type of roster or a mmorpg where we create our own character then choose which faction pirate marine and third faction( bounty hunters orRA). There would be up to like 5 fighting style ( Black leg, Brawler, sword user , fishman karate,sniper) each with their own skill tree . Some abilities will be locked if you don’t have haki.
This game looks just as good as World Seeker tbh
FYI i think when the move says weak it means it doesn't less damage to targeted enemy
