    I will never buy pre mixed mortar again.. My kitchen floor failed and had to be redone too. The stuff is spongy and gives when you step on it.

    I lost my car after a muddy buddy run once. A field covered in hay, folded flat to park on. Every row of cars looked identical. We ended up hitching a ride after an hour of looking in the back of a pickup to “scan” the cars for ours. After maybe 10 minutes. Found it. Lol. So relatable.

    Hi Drew. I think the tiles should have been laid closer together as grout does get dirty. If you spill anything it will leave a stain.

    Also, when you showed the tree at the flea market, tell me why I pictured you uprooting it, putting it in your wagon cart thingy, and bringing it home 😂😂😂

    I just wanted to give you some info on that “lovely” lighting fixture in your new store room. I cannot speak for California law, but Ohio and North Carolina real estate laws dictate that “any permanently affixed items (I.e.drapery rods, lighting fixtures etc.) must be left with the property, unless an agreement is made between both parties”. So you could have made a case, unless you had made an agreement with the seller, which did not sound like you did. Keep this info for future use. I loved your attitude about the tile, I would have sat on the floor and cried for days.

    Those goblets and mug are a Temoku glaze, a Japanese glaze recipe that goes back centuries. I love studio pottery, too, and used to do a bit of it myself.
