  1. Styrofoam is an excellent ingrediant to eliminate ground wasp, and fire ant nest blocker. I will not put the recipe online though.

  2. al on your culvert get some fence put it 3-5 feet in front of culvert win bevers or debr plug it up just pull it out

  3. I just live that rug….this is your coffee station isn’t it…well that looks good niw it’s in place…well done guys…
Wow those beavers can do some damage by blocking that culvate

  4. Ok Ok Ok ~~~ Not gonna lie ~~~ I've been checking out another really cool You Tube site ~ Nice videos, excellent projects etc. ~. So What I (sometimes) do is to "cross reference" two You Tube sites. So yea. Just bragging about the amazing Nahampsha couple (family) with their 500 acres (this would be you guys). I hope this is OK. All positive. Always respectful. ~boundaries for "famous people" are important~. And so… I did "disclose" to (Ambition Strikes) over there in North Idaho that I would recommend that you guys check in. They are very "off grid" with a solar set up ~ Riely and Courtney ~ Different types of projects (not processing farm animals) but I think very similar Off Grid goals. And so there ya go. I hope that they are checking out your posts and are as impressed as I am. (with you guys). As always ~ Thanks so much for sharing all that you do! ✨🙏✨

  5. What if you can figure out to put bars across the culverts or will it make it worse? Maybe a 1 piece that fits over it and attaches some how.

  6. Gina did great research on that new cabinet, it looks durable and they didn't provide cheap hardware to assemble. I loved the screws on the back as opposed to those tiny nails some provide.

  7. Good job AL you should take your loader bucket on your tractor and fill it from your rock piles and fill in alongside all your culverts so it helps from eroding. Also it always helps to keep a pile of gravel and rock for whatever pops up so you don't have to wait for the road to freeze cuz you have a pile to take from. Maybe it time to set a trap or two.

  8. You knew of the local beavers so why weren't you monitoring the road drains for evidence of their activity before it got so massive that the road was damaged ?
Too busy hanging up signs with nonsense phrases on the walls of the building…

  9. Instead of using the bucket and picking up water use that claw to scrape out the twigs and everything then scoop it out

  10. You need to put a battery charger on it in the Winter garden when you're not using it it is a good thing to have.

  11. We have 4 farm ponds and have a yearly beaver problem. Try using a hoe to clear your spillway pipe. It works many times better than a shovel. Also a screen made from a piece of cattle panel keeps their blockage on the outside, so they can't plug way down inside the pipe.

  12. It looked like there was a tunnel above your culvert washed out. Beware of that collapsing across your whole driveway across the culvert

  13. You two are in for a surprise with the kitchen cabinet you just assembled, because there is another piece coming to make it look like a hutch! And it’s about twice as tall compared to what you have now! It’s call the Home Kitchen Dining Hutch with Wine Storage…Good luck!

  14. I wonder if you could cover the ends of the culvert with a heavy gauge wire or even a 4 foot gate held in place by two metal post to keep them out. It may make cleanup easier cause the big stuff could not get inside so you can use the excavator to dig out whatever builds up outside. A quick fix to prevent major problems! ❤️

  15. I know beavers. They are usually in colonies of 8 to 10. We place a wire fence with t post across that end of the culvert as a screen. It is easier to clean out with you excavator and It keeps the pipe from packing tight with the small branches. Some use heavy hog panels and wire to t post. We had to introduce alligators to Arkansas for beaver control. We know beavers. Enjoyed watching!

  16. NY leaving the branches and weeds etc nearby, aren't you making it easy to put a dam back up since the beavers don't need to go out and cut down any twigs, branches etc ?

  17. I love how well the two of you work. What an amazing example for Livie you are in what to look for in a great marriage!

  18. When it comes time to do the final culvert seal up you could watch Letsdig18 and see how he puts clay around culverts to seal them up instead of those big rocks. Rocks are always going to allow water to come through so you have to eliminate them. Great video showing beavers aren’t welcomed everywhere.
