I practice succession planting as well as companion planting on my terrace garden. Succession planting is the practice of growing crops at an interval to maintain a consistent supply of harvestable produce throughout the season. Companion planting is the practice of planting different crops in close proximity so that they can offer identifiable benefits to each other.
Onions and Cabbage are excellent companion plants.
