Garden Plans

peaceful morning cleaning up the winter garden//how quickly the seasons change..

On this day we decided to start preparing our Kitchen Garden for Spring. Our first step was to remove all of the vegetables that were damaged by the awful frost we had last month. It got down to -4 degrees. We had one cabbage survive which we left in the garden bed. Hopefully the head will continue to grow bigger. Soon we will start more seeds for our spring garden but for now we are in clean up mode. This bed will receive more compost before we begin planting in it. We hope you enjoyed this calm garden clean up video. For us, it was a good start to the New Year.

Happy Gardening!! Stay warm if it is cold and stay cool if it is hot!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. This space has changed with every season. I've grown cut flowers mixed with spring & summer vege.. Then when those faded away, it became a home for our fall/winter vegetables. Now that we are in the midst of Janurary, this area has now been cleaned up once again & is ready to become home to our Spring Garden again.

Have you started planning for the next season yet?
