Happy New Year and welcome to the first Super Kit & Krysta 64 video of 2023! Today we’re returning to our Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands after a super duper long hiatus. It has to be close to two years since we were last here. We’re curious to see how much we remember about each other’s island after all this time. We spent so much time here, made countless Nintendo Minute videos and even had significant life moments like celebrating birthdays during the pandemic that it’s going to be an experience to go back and see it all again. I prefer kit’s zen garden because I like natural and open space builds more but Krysta’s is still great

Animal Crossing New Horizons is really the most boring "game" I've ever played.
I still absolutely adore New Horizons. It’s just soothing to run around and talk to my animal friends and drink coffee and go swimming. Sometimes I need to take a break from RDR2.

I have to go with Krysta’s, mostly because ours are set up nearly identical with a staircase leading up to it surrounded by the bamboo 😄

I gotta go with Kit’s Zen Garden. It’s got a nice lil picnic spot, and the rock garden is very zen. If Krysta’s was a tad bit bigger I probably would go with hers
I love how they wanted to make this video despite the fact that they completely despise each other’s islands.
I recently went back to my island to de-weed and debug. I was able to obtain two pieces of art that I didn’t have. My art gallery remains unfinished. I have collected all of the fish, fossils, and bugs. I sometimes think about starting over, but my island is at five stars. Plus, I don’t have much of an appetite to collect everything over again.

Just played on my island for the first time in a year today too coincidentally!
I stopped playing in July after spending aprox 5000 hours in the game and made over 200 vacation homes. I came back to play once during the christmas holiday but that's it. I still play Pocket Camp daily though – it rewards me with silver coins that I can spend on MyNintendo rewards. I like to collect everything, even from games I dont play

One of my favorite Nintendo Minute videos of all time was the Guess That Song for New Horizons music. I remember how Krysta didn’t know KK Bubblegum and Kit let her know it’s the top hit of the world. 😂

I haven’t been to my island in about 6 months and it’s a complete mess. At one time I had a nice island but I scrapped everything and tried to start over but I never finished it. Watching this kinda makes me wanna go back and work on my island again. I have tons of flowers and I was trying to collect all the gyroids so I have an area with all of the ones I have. I think I still have a zen garden too.

I actually wonder how Krysta collected so many themed items, Kitt seems to have spent a lot of time farming and not decorating. Very different playstyles

Kit's island is so chaotic, trees just randomly wherever they decided to spring up, houses apparently plopped on any area with enough open space to accommodate them. It stresses me out.
It boggles my mind that nintendo only releases one year of update and drop that game like a potato afterwards they could update it for years and people would absorb it.
I gotta say, Krysta’s island was very impressive
Kit's garden is for sure more spacious. Does that make it "better" though? Who really knows.

I still play but Iam starting to buy more amiibo cards to keep myself interested. My friend will be buying the game soon and this will be her first animal crossing game. Oh I didn’t play on new year and Toy day though.
It's making me want to play again and redo an island without having to restart the whole game xD
