Beautiful Small Cottage garden from England. Garden Inspiration Ideas, Landscape and Garden Design.

We moved into the house in December 2016, and it was the garden that was a massive selling point for us. Although it was landscaped with well established trees and shrubs, there was little colour other than every shade of green.

I like to wander around a garden, discovering new areas around each curve and sectioning the garden off with recycled railway gates helped us achieve this.

The majority of my flowers are self grown from seed and I love classic, romantic cottage garden style flowers with tall, elegant spires and soft pastel shades.

Most of the gardenalia are recycled items from local salvage yards and I like to tuck these deep in the borders so they are barely visible and a surprise when eventually seen. 

We encourage as much wildlife into the garden as possibly both with the types of flowers we plant and the foods we provide.

Continued plans will hopefully see the cottage garden style spread further into the rear and opposite side of our garden and eventually I would love to open our garden for charity events.
