    Hey everyone! Director J here. Happy 1 year anniversary! We’re so excited to bring your the very first MTG EDH episode of Secret Partners!

    We filmed this with Post waayyy back in April. Remember the episodes where the cameras overheated and got choppy?? This is from that same day. So it’s not your internet when Post & Michael’s camera is a little choppy for the first five minutes. And it’s not your computer when Joe & Evan’s camera is a little choppy about an hour in. Just our cameras suffering through a long shoot day with no AC.

    Very similar to Secret Kingdoms (personal favorite) and Treachery EDH variants. Both of which involve teams and their own unique role cards.

    I have a episode request for y'all! OG EDH. Where you have three generals and one Commander and you can't play your commander without having your three generals on the battlefield. The only restriction is that you have to have a 3 or more colors in your Commanders identity.

    Glad to see another format played on YT. Good game!

    My pod has been playing 5-6 players for about 2 years now. Kingdoms is another really fun format along with star. My play group is working on a dnd inspired game style that has been pretty epic so far. Working on the details and if they are ever ironed out I'll definitely pass it along.

    One thing I recommend with more than 4 is a round table. It really makes keeping track of what is on the battlefield a bit more feasible considering how crazy things can get.
