  1. I've been binge watching Siskel & Ebert for the last couple of days. Nice coincidence. Best New Year wishes from Poland!

  2. I love your channel, I watched your Christmas cartoon you posted up and brought back awesome memories of my childhood, thank you!
โค๏ธ Have a Great New Year in 2023 and on!

  3. โ€˜Samuel Fuller and the Big Red Oneโ€™ was the ABC Monday Night Movie. Never heard of this movie though.

  4. Oprahโ€™s โ€˜anniversaryโ€™โ€ฆ.. Bernie Goetzโ€ฆ. Only 9 min inโ€ฆ this is great

  5. Casaveetees? Geez, I think Roger Ebert mispronounced John Cassavetes's last name. And good grief, Mr. Ebert gave little time on Purple Rain, the 10th movie than what he did with the 9 movies. The one movie on that list had the music of a porno. The one with the woman on her bed without a bra on. Geesh!

  6. Roger Ebert's Top 10 Films of 1984 according to this broadcast:

    10. Purple Rain
    9. Choose Me
    8. Stranger Than Paradise
    7. The Killing Fields
    6. Secret Honor
    5. The Cotton Club
    4. This is Spinal Tap
    3. Love Streams
    2. Paris, Texas
    1. Amadeus

  7. OMG thank you for sharing I was 18 in 1984 and just graduated Midwood high school .Have a happy and healthy New Year everyone โค

  8. โ€œMy nephews were just asking the man for money to play video games they werenโ€™t gang riding the subway to rob himโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚ oh please nice to see the community supported the man defending himself and getting dangerous thugs out of the subway.
Did everyone have one of those roll top desks? I feel like those were a thing every home was supposed to have in it.

  9. I love watching commercials from 1985 and even the news. It takes me back to a time where things were gentle and made sense and were a different time. I loved the Celozi-Ettleson Chevrolet commercials. It was a good time.

  10. Did anyone notice the lady in the commercial for an anniversary show at approximately 3 minutes in was Oprah? This was before she was known outside Chicago. She got her start there before her show went into syndication in the mid-80โ€™s.

  11. Way Cool! More 1980โ€™s Los Angeles newscasts & commercials !! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿซก
