    Amy I for one are glad that you are so honest. I personally can't stand for people that lie. Plus if you tell the truth there's nothing to remember. Because it no matter when you tell it will feel like the first time.

    So much waste in this country, nice to see a little of it being salvaged. I bet the cherry candies would be great chopped up and added to cookie dough. I would definitely reduce the sugar in the cookie recipe though. Nice dive.

    Love your channel and all you two do to save the environment. Frugal daddy is so funny. When Amy posted about the yoohoo never making it home, I could only wonder why eight of the 16 boxes of chocolate covered cherries never made the table either.     It's so good to see you both feeling much better!
    Amy – just a though about too much milk, just in case you don't know this – but you likely do…….Heat up a quart of milk to 180 degrees, add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar per quart, stir up and down (like with a potato masher) gently for a minute or so, then the milk separates. Take the pot off the stove and let it sit still for 10 min or so. Use a slotted spoon to lift off the curd and put it in a sieve or fine colander. That is the best ricotta cheese ever! And you can freeze it if there is too much. I try to buy milk when it's reduced to 50 cents for 4 litres when I can find it, and make a substantial batch. It will not taste like vinegar at all. Skim, 2%, homogenized….it all works. If it does not start separating after a minute or two, add another tablespoon of vinegar. You could also use 1/2 teaspoon of salt per quart before you heat it up if you'd like.
    Hubby and I met on e-Harmony too – 14 years ago and still going strong! No babies though! 🙂
