  1. "I'm almost 6 ft ladies" LOL, oh John, I thought that you had a girlfriend?

  2. In Las Vegas the water company gives you money to convert to dessert landscape but I don't think the city does.

  3. Hey John.  I bought some of those Ashitaba seeds from you a little white back.  I got 4 plants growing, but man they sure are slow growing.  Is that normal?  They germinated about early February and now that we are in late April, they only have two leaves on them.  Should they be further along or is that normal?

  4. Although I don't watch John on a regular basis, I do think he has a lot of knowledge about plants. He mentioned having powdery mildew, but didn't say what he was doing about it. What's John's take on overcoming powdery mildew?

  5. John i have a 4' x 120' bed of kale, something i noticed about the kale a few days before it flowers are the tips that look like tight broccoli are very high in sugar and have a great taste(like mustard with sugar) im going to take some to the farmers market and see how ppl like them. It may start a new trend.

  6. Holy Schmolly John. I'm gonna have to find a new place to plant the ashitaba seedling that I started from your seeds. I didn't realize how big they get. But that's a nice problem to have. Anybody know how shade tolerant they are?

  7. Holy Crap John Your SOOO STONED!!!! haha jk. I do think its ridiculous how bad people are flaming you for your last vid especially when its just another herb. Keep it up!

  8. Great videos bro. I've picked up so much info from your work. Cheers 🙂

  9. Hey John… from THIS side of the camera, those yellow flowered stalks with your tall kale look like broccolini that's gone to seed.  I had forgotten what I planted when mine did that and a taste test told me it wasn't kale.  Just what it looks like, that's all. That berry plant that you said wasn't really tasty is gorgeous! Hopefully the berries are better than the beauty berry you tasted in Texas. LOL  Enjoy your updates and always striving for more success, as your garden shows IS possible!

  10. Perennials are where it's at.
Everything looks great. Keep up the good work, John. Thanks for sharing.

  11. I planted lettuce and curly spinach in my hoop house raised bed and only the spinach survived the cold harsh winter. But I'm okay with that as I live in New England.

Thanks for sharing tips with us and your gardens are such an inspiration! 🙂

  12. Ok so everyone who gets it can see you've indulged in some of your herbs. Nothing wrong with a slow video with lots of smiles. If I'm in my yard or green house I'm baked 🙂  Peace and love.

  13. Hey John, I love your front garden. Your Cana edulis has really red leaves, I wonder if it's your winter that does that. I grow mine for the leaves because I'm not super impressed with the taste of the tubers. The chickens love them and they are a great compost activator. Not related to arrowroot although it's commonly called that here in Queensland. Thanks for the walk through.

  14. I'm getting ready to grow water melons, Bell & chili peppers, cherry & romane tomatoes, squash, peas, carrots, spinach, onions, garlic, basils, strawberries, and corn

  15. Yo you got some gardening skills and thank you for all the youtube videos dude youve helped me tremendously in the few weeks ive gottan into indoor gardening

  16. Any suggestion for a food plant that can grow well indoors without direct sunlight?

  17. Thx for a great video john. Can you please post a url of any great plans for some of the raised gardens you have? Its so awesome how you can sit and work on each garden. Id like to build them myself to save money. Just some nice plans. Thanks for helping me get off my ass and garden High or not. Who cares. The plants dig it even more when you garden high

  18. Man I wanna just thank you for all the videos you have made I haven't seen them all however all the ones I have seen are great and I would like to purchase a slow star juicer I live in Philadelphia and don't like buying anything on the internet you have any suggestions , can i buy one from your website with a prepaid credit card

  19. This is awesome!  I saw a video of you addressing the MAM crowd in Las Vegas today, which unfortunately I couldn't attend.  Loved that you said that it's about more than just this one day though and am subscribed to your channel now.  I live in a condo and will my own research on what I can possibly grow indoors, but your videos are motivating me to move into a house after all!  Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

  20. any advice on how to grow your beds?? like which greens / herbs do you place in a raised bed? do you dedicate certain beds for certain greens?

  21. Where do you live and would be open to mentoring somebody? I'm new to gardening but I am very determined. I am hoping to own my own business one day and I'm looking for a mentor and you seem to know your stuff. I would love to talk more, hope to hear from you soon!

  22. John, what's your top list of edible ornamentals that you would suggest planting?

  23. Technically there is no such thing as a desirable weed. A weed by definition is an unwanted plant. For example, Bermuda grass in a turfgrass setting is not a weed. However, Bermuda grass in a crop field is a weed. Great video though. Your garden is amazing.

  24. Yo, John. Who is your gardener? I know you don’t have time to keep all those beds that clean! Fantastic job, man.
