Jeff, your pressure treated lumber does not warp?
or does it not warp as long as you screw it in right away? I'm thinking about using pressure treated 2×10 lumber for fascia board, because i'm tired of termites. Will be screwed into the rafters.
The trouble with Tribbels I believe!
Though looking at the closing frame , one more hing in the middle would have / could be a support for it not to sag.
0o0ops….saw the video again and " did " seeEE the clamps about it…sorry my 🤦♂️🤷♂️
So happy ypu mae a video with the blocks! I've searched far and wide for a good video to use the blocks the right way and alas Jeff to the rescue!
When he threw that blade…..😮
I definitely like your longer videos… I wonder if you could do something like this and use as "Air BnB" type thing? I mean I know you could but not sure how popular it be along the lines of a hostel.
Nothing sexy about digging a hole very true
Damn. I just got finished the four hour shed build video. lol.
One bite at a time.
i stopped watching this channel.. content is all over the place…no worth watching any more. lacks content and fun .
Just curious, and I know it is just a point in time amount, but what was material cost for this project. I'm trying to ballpark it so I can estimate for cash on hand. Thanks, Jerry. P.S. Love your channel, Jeff, and I am getting lots of little tips I had either forgotten or not heard of.
I likeyour design and might use it Are you aware that If there is a crown in the rim that you place the level on,it wil significantly distort the reading you get. 1/4" in 1' translates into 1" in 4' . Snap a line on the outside of the rim 1" down from opposite corners and use that as a straight edge to level the frame.
To remove bolts put a nut on level with the end of the bolt and you can reuse the bolt
I beg to differ on using a line to keep things straight I used to work for a home manufacturer who built semi detached homes one sides owner decided to cut some money and have me build his deck the other wanted a professional deck builder to build the composite decking well they got there professional deck and it looks great until you look over the fence and look at mine and then you start to see all the flaws the gaps expanding and contracting going from an 1/8 to 3/8
On the 2 boards that are laminated, you could have clamped them, as you screwed them, just a thought. Nice job.
If you're looking to chill on the couch during the holidays watch the OG Shed Build 👉🏼https://youtu.be/BLk_CAMmQPc. I can't believe it is over 12M views now!!! Thanks for watching! Cheers
Never seen a CAMO before, and i'm pushing 60.. lol.. great video !!!
In a unrelated question. I will be doing a kitchen ceramic tile install and would like a tip/s on making the install as durable as possible for a electric chair to drive over without breaking the bank. Thx
Testing 1,2,3 could you please tell me if you can see this?
The Trouble with Tribbles Star trek EP15 S2
Hi Jeff. An amazing job. Looks fantastic. Very enjoyable and interesting video to watch. Great stuff. 👍👌. A pure master builder. Thank you for sharing. 👍
What are the brands of those elongated drill bits? Can't find them except for pocket hole screws
Great build, I watched the individual videos and now scrubbing through the A to Z. Hopefully in the spring I will modify this to a BBQ shack instead of a shed bar with a patio to sit on.
t'es dont ben botcheux mautadine
Love the fact you teach the correct way to do things. We use you a resource for our projects.
The Trouble with Tribbles
Star Trek: The Original Series: Season 2, Episode 15 Aired December 29, 1967
Those cute furry creatures on the Star Trek episode were called "tribbles". The episode was called, "The Trouble With Tribbles".
This is the best diy channel. As in , “what do I do when things go south”
Great build — was a lot of fun to watch from start to finish. I have one comment/concern/question:
Structural screws are designed to hold their rated load perpendicular to the direction they're used (i.e., it's rated for shear strength, not it's ability to withstand tearing out from the member). When hanging the awning/door, my thought is that, because the screws in the hinges are parallels with the direction of the load, over time, the door opening and closing will weaken the connection and the screws will start to pull out (we're talking about decades here, I don't think it's just going to fall off overnight — they should each have several hundred pounds of resistance to tearing out). How confident are you that these connections will last ~50 years, and is there any disadvantage to bolting through to avoid the concern altogether?
Awesome! I've been looking for a video like this to build a roll-off observatory, which is just a shed with some rollers on the roof to slide it partially off. Thanks!
Jeff after watching this video I decided to sleep n rest my brain. It was no more good. Listen LESS IS MORE. be exact no everting off the subject lolololol. Just messing with you Happy New Years
I love that you leave in the mistakes (like the compressor too low) ! It's real !
Hey Jeff, how far out are your metal roof panels overhanging the back of the shed? where I assume is your drain point
Great video as always !!!
Your videos are always great, have been watching for years but some of the video quality in this video lacked. I’m not a newbie but for some, a lot of good angles and stuff weren’t shown.
