  1. Absolutely love your podcast its fun to see and plan for future knitting i too want to knit some sweaters this coming year you are an inspiration I have been knitting for about 12 yrs but am new to sweaters just did the safe knitting like socks and hats thank you fir letting us see you as you are such a delight 😊 l am 75 yrs young happy knitting and Happy New Year

  2. Loving the cutaway closeups of your yarn. And absolutely drooling 🤤 over that Full English colorway 😍❤

  3. Oh my goodness! Yes to lists and then changing plans😂! I think it’s super helpful to make these plans even as we change them because the general change will often be in the same category with a similar aesthetic.
I want to knit the Half & Half I was in process, but had to rip out because I had screwed up my wrap & turns😢 In the end it was ok because I changed my color combo (I was not too far, but that cast on)
The other thing I want is my triangle shaped shawls because the sit so perfectly on the shoulders when I’m sitting (and homeschooling)
Last thing, never apologize for your stash! It brings so much joy 😊 I have too much and some old skeins but they don’t mind hanging out 😅. Some day I would enjoy a stash tour and how you store your yarn. I normally “toss” my stash (see the Yarn Harlot’s annual tradition) a couple of times a year & it is so inspirational ❤

  4. I knit my niece a sweater with 100% cotton and it actually turned out nicer than I thought! So I think the cotton merino blend would be especially nice for that petite knit sweater 😉

  5. My goodness what a great episode- so much in here I need to re watch and take notes! I’ve never done a KAL and feel this is the year!

  6. I have 2 quantity's of sweater yarn for hubby and I but never knitted a sweater before (I crocheted a kids sweater) so that's my big goal this coming year! And then I do want to do a pac man Afghan for hubby he's been asking for it forever (it will most likely be crocheted, a flip flop project so my hands don't get to sore knitting) but the main color is black so hard to see 🤷🏼‍♀️

  7. Absolutely love those Sheepcamp colors! Also- how did I not know you live so far from a yarn shop- how do you do it?!

  8. So much fun to think about and plan future projects! Looks like you have a nice, cohesive palette and awesome yarns. I'm curious to see how the yak mix will hold up for socks?

  9. Great video! I hope your voice comes back once and for all very soon! I’m looking forward to trying to keep up with you since my list for 2023 looks a lot like yours. ☺️

  10. Your colour sense is soooo good! How much do you love a blue and toffee/orange colour combo? Can’t wait to see how your knits go in 2023.

  11. I encourage you to cast on the Current Mood shawl. It's a delight! In fact, I bound off and wove in the ends on my own version while watching your lovely video. 😄

  12. It’s nice to hear your knitting plans. I’ve just about cleared my needles- finishing with some super bulky hats. I can’t decide what’s next…. Vest? Cardigan? Sweater? Hmmmm. I am planning to join Bakery Bears blanket year-long KAL as well as Knitty McPurly’s Lent Shawl knit along. I really enjoy the support that comes with a kAL!

  13. I am new to your podcast and really like your knitting honesty and content. I am currently finishing the Moxie Jacket by Caidee. I want to finish this so that I can cast on my first Felix sweater and then the Daily Sweater, Purl Soho pattern. Happy knitting. I am currently sewing a dress and a pair of wool pants too.

  14. Oh gosh, I have lots of knitting/spinning plans for 2023, some of which I didn't get to start in 2022.

I plan to master socks (so far, I haven't managed to knit the heels, I've tried many ways, but I drop stitches).
I have a few sock patterns by Fibre Tales, Humlebi socks, Gro socks and Var socks.
I'd like to knit the Nurmilintu shawl by Heidi Alander in my naturally hand dyed yarn
Scotch Broom Crop by Wool and Pine
Gloam Cardigan by Caitlin Hunter in my handpun
A Girl's Best Friend shawl by Isabell Kraemer
And a Clint Eastwood style poncho for my son with my brown handspun

I will talk about my progress on my Youtube channel if you would like to see how I go
