Over here at deep south Texas all my trees were and still are awake with fruit. I'm still waiting to see what's the extent of the damage of this artic storm.
Iโve got a few varieties in the ground that I left unprotected. It got down to -5F with a windchill of -25F and I was surprised to see that they were still pliable. The tips appeared to be brown and dead but when I peeled it back a bit there was some green underneath. Iโm talking Alma, Brown Turkey, Chicago Hardy, and Verde. They could be still in the middle of dying down to the ground but interesting anyway.

My fig trees weren't dormant at all, they still had unripe fruit and green leaves all over the place.
