  1. Me…..I don’t like sauerkraut. But my mom loved it and would go to a friends house from church and make it.

  2. Hey there sweet Tina! I found your channel not too long ago and I really enjoy your videos. I followed how to plant my sweet potatoes from you and your husband's video. I have a good feeling about what I will be getting because you guys are so knowledgeable. Thank you so much for sharing all your wisdom with all of us. I'm a beginning gardener just this year and I absolutely love it. I live in Pensacola Florida and it is stinking hot here, but it's worth sweating especially when you bring in harvest from the garden. Your cabbage harvest was amazing! I absolutely love cabbage. Have a nice day and I look forward to the next video. God bless you!

  3. Please taking better care of yourself. You've got some serious sunburn on your face. Don't forget losion. Maybe bigger brim hat would also help. I don't want to find out you you got Sun poisoning, or worse. We all love you and don't want you sick.
With cabbage, beef (chopmeat), or potatoes you can make progies. Yummy. πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I make a big batch and freeze them in small bunches. That way I have just enough defrosting for a meal. There nice with fried onions, butter or sour cream. Or smothered with tomato sauce, with the beef ones. I'm getting hungry lol, I don't have any left. Boo hoo. I have to make some from scratch, tomorrow. G-D Bless and please protect your skin.

  4. Great video Tina! To summarize, was great to see Mark back on a video again a couple days ago, your garden shots are wonderful, and that is an amazing stash of garlic you have set out to dry behind you. Happy Gardening! -Bob…

  7. That's a nice crop of cabbage. I enjoy boiled cabbage soaked in butter. Sauer kruat is another favorite too.

  8. Bless your heart, I certainly can empathize with you. I actually cut the side and tip f my finger off with a hatchet splitting kindling. Your homemake sauerkraut video is the first one I watched because I wanted to learn how. Hugs and Love

  9. That is a nice harvest ! I do the cooking around here except for grilling but there's one thing David makes and boy is it delicious …He makes baby back ribs and kraut over a pile of creamy mashed potatoes , I love it !

  10. Even though we are easily a month plus behind you, we planted 6 spindley looking, betcha they wont make it, cabbage plants, that are now about softball size!! It will be great to be on the reaping side of things. Pea's are plumping up, beans are loaded, onions are bulbing, and garlic is about a week out. Still seems, some days, that we just planted everything!!!
    Nice haul.

  13. Love cabbage. I make my brother sauerkraut steamed in beer he craves it made like that. No you don’t taste the beer

  14. Nice cabbage haul. We got ours out late because of all the crazy weather here in Southeast Tennessee. Our heads were not very big at all but my wife, Lisa, still made some krout and we had some slaw. Next year will be different. Tell Mark I will be sending him an e-mail soon asking him some questions about soil. You're doing a good job Tina.

  15. Your cabbages look beautiful! That’s gonna be a lot of wonderful sauerkraut. I love sauerkraut. There is only one brand I will buy. The others are just not good. I’ve never made my own but would like to try it sometime. Eagerly awaiting your video on how to make it. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. 16. Outstanding! It would be so helpful if you could tell us what time to plant it, how to feed it and keep away the dreaded cabbage loopers and worms. Is spring time planting better than fall?

  17. I’m looking forward to seeing how you make sauerkraut. I love watching you harvest your veggies.

  18. I was wondering when do you guys start your cole crop? Do you start from seed or buy transplants?

  19. I pulled my cabbage to soon I thought it was hot and out of 12 I got 2 small heads someone told me I needed to pull it so you cant take advice from everyoneπŸ˜’ but you hate to keep asking the same ppl lots of questions b cuz they either stop answering or give you short answers that you have no idea what they mean lol. But I'm new to gardening and I love it made a lot of mistakes cant really tell if my stuff is diseased or not and I've pulled pots of stuff and trashed all the container mix that I can tell you I spend a lot of money to get 5 cucumbers 2 cabbages a few potatoes the only thing that make it worth it is I really like watching something grow from seed. I'm the only one that eat tomatoes and I have 10 tomato plants lol so I give away more then we eat but its cost more then I can afford to keep doing if I dont figure it out lol. You guys have been a great help so thank you very much for your time.

  20. Wow!! I wish I could grow beautiful cabbage like that. Awesome harvest.😊😊

  21. That is some awesome looking cabbage harvest! They are big heads so I know they will make lots of yummy meals and the sauerkraut! Big hugs πŸ€—
