2022 Vegetable Review – BEST & WORST New Varieties I Tried this Year



As we get ready to start planning the 2023 vegetable garden, let’s review the new vegetable varieties I grew this past year! I’ll talk about which vegetables I plan to grow again this year and which ones I’m going to skip.

  1. I will be focused on drought resistant varieties for 2023. I don't think our water restrictions are going anywhere.

  3. wow, thanks for going over all of this! You gave me a couple things to think about when I order my seeds haha. That silver slicer cucumber sounds like a winner for all of the reasons you described. Dr. Whyche's Tomato is something I am going to consider as well. I want an orange slicer variety. That large leaf basil might be something I order. I appreciate you posting all of the issues you had/have in your garden. It's better to learn from. I am looking forward to your 2023 grow list.
