Brook I love you channel. I have a suggestion that the birds might like. The nesting material that you purchased and put in the hens laying boxes, might be good to tear up one and see if they will like to use that material to line the nest with.
Brooke, I loved the Video!! Very well edited!! How do you tell the difference between a female and a male!?! I was looking at both of them and everything seem to match up to the other bird!! Thanks!! It is getting exciting to wonder when will the egg become reality!!! I am assuming they only raise one at a time, just from your comments. They sure are a Beautiful Bird!!! See you on the next video!!! 🤗🥶❄️☃️♥️🙏🏼
Thank you so much Brooke for taking us along on this very exciting venture. I am glad you did add extra nesting materials, just in case, because you never know. I really do hope she lays an egg for you. If it hatches, you'll never get anything done, lol You will be glued to your phone watching them. lol Best of luck on this. It really is exciting. Kathy from cold Alberta Canada.
That nest is huge! Wow
I just love seeing this 😍 thank you for sharing ❤️
Oh wow, that’s a huge nest. Brooke, you are The VCP Whisperer. Also Mildred is sweetie😊 Thanks so much for the update, love you channel. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Take them some straw or hay and big maple tree leaves or even fiber fill from out of a pillow! ❤️
The Victorian crown pigeons love blueberries they are from New Guinea . They eat fruits . ❤
Love the sky it looks like some rolling waves.
I really really don’t get the need for your own site. Why try to fix what wasn’t broken? Honestly. Why leave Jason to carry everything? You can do cooking and Mary Carls birds like before…. I just don’t understand. Do you need more money?
Thank you for sharing this massive build!
Brooke, your going to be as emotionally elated when your baby Victoria Crown pigeon is born, as Jami was when she got her baby alpaca Indy! 💗💕💗⚘
Brooke looks like their nest is a beautiful winter wreath!!! Need to get them making and selling!😃
Maybe, in the future, reeds and bigger grasses could be good material for the nest.
Everyone has their fingers crossed.
The nest looks finished, what a difference in a few days. Awesome
Tell Mary Carl happy birthday! Thanks for the video.
Brooke I love your channel
I think she might pull out some of her own down feather's to make the area softer for her egg.
Question from this City folk… what is a normal gestation period between mating and laying an egg?
Best wishes for the hopeful couple!
I would watch a whole video of you just brushing Mildred. Looks so relaxing.
I absolutely love how you and Jason cultivate Mary Carls love of birds. You guys support her in everything she is interested in and allow her to be her true self. You and Jason are wonderful parents and I love how you guys take interest and help her with her feather babies. However, I think the Victorian Pigeons are secretly Brooks passion now and I'm here for it. I am loving all the content regarding them and just as invested in seeing them build their nest. This will be "Egg/Baby watch 2023" what could be better to start the new year with!
Brook I am really enjoying watching you and Mary Carl. I have learned so much about the pigeons. Thank you both!❤
Would you belive the blue jays here make nests that big too ! It's so cool but they put junk in there also, gum warpers, rat wire, toys small ones, sticks that r 5times bigger then the brids lol themselfs
Did you send them to wreath-making class?
what about straw? or long grasses?
What about peacock feathers or nuggets feathers x
The sky behind you is beautiful
Be careful with the cedar I don't know if it would hurt them like it does Turkey's but you never know
Leaves, sticks, and twigs are what they use to make their nest.
Have a happy new year. God bless your farm and your family.
The pine or cedar may help deter insects
Perhaps cut the long feathers in half?
LOVE LOVE LOVE loving it, so exciting Mrs. Coghill
I’ve loved learning about these rare and beautiful birds!
Can’t wait to see what happens next:) tfs:)
Are you going to swap the egg for a fake or other one and incubate it due to rarity?
Can't wait to see when she lays her eggs. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
