In the Saint Lucia we call ( june plums ) golden apples and they grow to that size. I remember as a young boy using bamboo poles and throwing stones to pick them. The smaller variety was introduced to the Island later.

I tasted my 1st white sapote few months a go and just ordered more. Interesting how tastes differ! I am in tampa side and we are experiencing such low temps!! I am not sure my sugar apples or Rollinia will survive! 🙏🏻.
