What kind of lettuce is this , did you grow from seed first ? Dirt what kind is it a mix of dirt's ? If I can't get rice husks what would you recommend ? Thank you so much for video .

I like everything about this video but I’m not so sure about using a tire because of all the chemicals used in making it. I substituted large garden containers and cut them down. They also have chemicals. Please let know your thoughts.
