Perfect Modern Home Renovation | Love It or List It | HGTV

Bert and Tommy share Tommy’s eclectic, 1980s contemporary home, but Bert wants a home that reflects them both. The couple loves to entertain and host visiting artists and friends, but Bert feels the house is dated, lacks the space and function for their needs and leaves him with no space to call his own. Bert wants David to find them their dream home with a pool, but Tommy, the creative visionary, sees potential and hopes Hilary can bring their dream to life in their current home.

When a house no longer feels like home, homeowners are left with a big financial and emotional question: renovate or sell it? Love It or List It helps fed-up homeowners decide. In each hour-long episode Realtor David Visentin and designer Hilary Farr compete for the homeowners’ final decision to stay or go. David’s insider perspective on the real estate market helps target listings to prospective buyers, but Hilary is determined to show homeowners that, within their budget, she can transform their worn-out house into a castle they can love. If the owners decide to list it, Hilary’s hard work adds to the home’s resale value. It’s a tough decision either way. Which choice would you make?

  1. I could not believe they decided to take that dated, oversized house rather than their current beautifully renovated house! 😮😮

  2. So they chose that old house with old features instead of their new renovated house !!!!! Surprising Episode so far

  3. I definitely would of stayed especially with all that equity and the other house was dated and over budget

  4. In about 2 years time they will be renovating that big house for about $300'000 or regerting they didn't stay in their current home

  5. I was shocked Hillary! what you did was impeccable truly, because their house before was kind of frumpy wow and you turned it into this spectacular modern exciting usable place, so I couldn’t believe it either the only positive would be if they asked you to decorate their new house then that would be perfect

  6. What are going on with the episodes this season? I expect a new episode and don't see one for weeks but then see randomly one or two new ones recorded on my dvr. I've honestly lost so much interest in the show because it is so hit or miss when I can count on having an episode to sit down and watch.

  7. Hit 120k$ today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months, Started with 14k$ in January 2022🤝
