Oh would you look at that its a kite it would be a shame if someone would shoots
Thanks for teaching me about this.
The visual range of the Fa330 would be even farther on a flat earth.
Guys this footage is from a movie called Das Boot!
I didn't understand a thing!
And, the earth is flat I tell you!
But I still enjoyed it. Thanks Johnny!
What sorcery is this? ๐
Wait why wouldn't this make sense to flat earthers? Cause of the height advantages in spotting being based on the curvature of the earth?
This reminded me of Far Cry 4, I was thinking there is no way this thing is real…then again the truth is stranger than fiction.
Nice – interesting content and explained well… …and I loved the dig at the end.
One of these is on display at the Pioneer Village in Minden, NE
Nice engineering, but same could have been achieved with a simple parachute dragged behind the boat.
THere is one in the Museum of the US Airforce in Dayton, Ohio. I was always amazed by it as a kid, but this is to first time I saw how it was really used. Thanks.
Saw one on display in Berlinโs Technische Museum. Nice place to visit.
Was there anything those nazis hadn't invented?
rust
I saw one in the Fleet air arm museum, Yeovilton.
how again does it differ from haelicopter?
Far cry 4
Before There Were Drones, There Were Rotor Kites!
They're called auto gyros aren't they
You wouldn't want to be up in the air in one when an enemy aircraft was spotted. Your life would become instantly expendable.
very cool!
Used in far cry 4

Not sure if 'rotor kite' is a German translation, but this would just be called an autogyro or gyrocopter. With or without an engine..
