  1. Welcome to my first sketchbook tour! I set an art challenge for myself this year by filling this sketchbook with various prompts each week. Doing one piece per week was achievable for me (though I painted 2 prompts in a week in the end to include this video in the series) so I'd recommend trying it out for yourself 🙂

  2. I have this one artwork that I am very proud of from 2020. It was an acrylic on canvas painting i made for a friend's loved one's birthday. It started with sketches using pencil on the material (which i later on found that the marks were very hard to erase) and then mixed with layers of paint to get the colors right. It was one of my early pieces done without any prior knowledge on acrylic painting but I was glad to see it turned out nicely and the birthday girl loved it🤍

  3. I am not artistic by nature but I found if I trace or use stencils my artwork is so much more vivid and pleasing to the eyes.

  4. i don’t feel like being proud of my art is why i do art. i do art because it’s cute, terrifying, good for my mental health, boring, striking, subjective. of course i have favorite pages in my bujo or preferred drawings i made- however i try not to judge my artwork because at the end of the day it’s just a reflection of who am i and it doesn’t need to be judged, just appreciated and loved<3

  5. Good morning 👍☺️ Charizze T 🌹 Oh so many Beautiful pages Thank you for sharing your Sketch book with the prompts I enjoyed watching now enjoy your week 👍🌹💌🦄☺️👋

  6. You definitely have a style, Charizze, if I were to see these illustrations separately on my feed, I would know you painted them. I don't think I've ever managed to finish a sketchbook, I always end up starting a new one 😀 And that's definitely a great idea, doing two prompts a week, or even just one. I'm sure it makes a huge difference when it comes to developing your skills. I go through periods. Some weeks I paint every day and then do nothing for two weeks, depending on my inspiration levels.

  7. There are few artworks that I made that I am very proud of because of how they turned out. But, there are also times when I feel like my work does not look good or perfect, and in those times, I just remind myself that art doesn’t need to be perfect and that sometimes those flaws will make your artwork unique!

  8. When I am very stressed because the duties and resposabilities of my job worry me (I am a Primary School Teacher), then I do not have nor the time neither the concentration to enjoy painting and bulletjournaling and my creations are poor and not very beautiful. Besides I cannot create anything and I feel depressed. But to redo myself and to be proud of my artistic work, I look for some own time in my studio and relaxing conditions (good music or podcasts, a soya candle, etc.) to start getting motivated again and to start decorating and painting my bullet journal. And it works when I really have the time to connect with my art again, then, usually, I feel proud again of my work.

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful creations 😍😍😍

  9. Since the pandemic began I’ve had a hard time making art but I’m trying to get back to it slowly… last painting I liked was on oct 29, 2022 and even decided to enter a contest hahah didn’t win tho but I felt proud. ✨

  10. I`m still a beginner but I do feel proud of my artwork sometimes. An example that comes to mind is the monthly cover pages that I paint in my sister's BuJo.
I absolutely loved your sketchbook, btw!

  11. Your art is is very amazing, in Love with art,
I'm proud of my works which I've done in lockdown, I was just a beginner but I did better then I thought. I really want to start my art again in this winter break and learn more things about art

  12. The problem I've had with my art was the lack of inspiration and when I did end up drawing something it never felt like mine (?) My biggest inspo was seeing other people paint, I would see an art created by someone else and then I get this urge to draw it too and I would paint it as well and I would actually be very proud of it but there is always this lil nagging feeling in my mind saying you can never draw anything of your own or you copy others. But very recently I saw this YouTube video of an artist explaining what tracing, copying and your own work is and how it works and according to him I actually stated to feel better about my art in general. But I would love to have my own style someday and I'll keep trying until that day >.<

  13. Your sketchbook looks so good.
I recently painted a mixture of lineart and watercolor. Drew a skyline in ink and then put a background / sky in bright watercolor and added some UFOs (ink). Was very happy with it 😊

  14. These are all so so beautiful! I think my favorites were the tree/female meditating and the girl walking in the rain. I especially loved the purple and pink tones in the rain one, so pretty!

  15. There was a time I didn’t like a piece of my artwork and it was in my studio art class so what happened was when we were assigned a month to do any art piece we wanted and I had decided to try different types of art to get a vision of what I wanted to do so I spent time looking on Pinterest for references to go off but I didn’t find any that fit my vision so I decided to just solo it by trying to use different art supplies and see what I could do so I tired doing watercolor, sculpting, and pastels and my art pieces always had a set back and didn’t turn out how I wanted ( it was mostly because my teacher had old art supplies and they weren’t the best and I had tried my best to make them work) by then I had spent 2 weeks in class working on them and decided to scrap them all and do a sketch/ drawing piece of my favorite character from Solo Leveling Sung Jin Woo and I had decided to try to work on it by watching a tutorial on yt after I made a sketch of it going off a reference and it looked terrible so I kept constantly trying to make it look decent and by the end of October I was proud of myself and I turned it in so after my teacher reviewed it she had commented “is this what you spent a whole month working on” and gave me a very low grade. I had a mini heart attack and was panicking because you know this was my first year in studio art and I’m not the best in art I know I’m not that talented but I was kind of thrown off that she said this about my art and I kept looking at my art and it made me self conscious and changed my feelings about my art piece of my favorite character and now every time I look back on it I can’t find myself to like it anymore because it reminds me of that terrible feeling so I always try to play it safe in studio art and I haven’t tried to do actual art pieces I like I just do some that will get a good grade
