  1. love your lessons. plus I like your measuring tape bracelet. that is a cool add.  I love ya don't die over a little seam not sewed perfect.  thanks

  2. Wow that's so nice. You said it was easy and I was doubtful…but it seems you were able to pull a rabbit out of a hat with piecing that white background around those hexie shapes ! I was just about to try making a hexagon quilt the old fashioned way…maybe ill try this instead!!…A great way to use up those scrap fabrics.

  3. Jenny can you make sure you tell us when making blocks the finished size. I sometimes just make one block. And how did you enjoy Arizona? Several of my friends went and loved it. Made comment of your husband also TEE HEE

  4. Can I use the 2 1/2 inch jelly roll of fabric? I have some beautiful that I love and just got this week from MSQC. Could this sub for two charm packs?

  5. The "half-hexagon" is called a trapezoid. The math teacher in me had to tell you. ☺️ What a great way to make a beautiful quilt!

  6. You keep getting larger and larger. You are headed for a stroke, lady. Please see a dietician.

  7. I'm making this quilt and noticed that you didn't mention that I would need to add the last sashing strip to the last square in each row. Caught it before I finished sewing the squares into rows. It's looking so good! It's to be a wedding quilt for a couple at church.

  8. I have 2 packs of 5 inch Honeycomb hexagons. Will I be able to use them to do this quilt?? It appears I would save myself some time by not having to do anything but cut them in half and work on the background blocks alone from then on.

  9. I am working on this now and the sashing along the long side of this rectangular block is a six and a half inch long strip but I think the strip on the short side should be cut at 4.5 inches to allow of the additional cornerstone seam on either side (all the strips are 1-1/2 inches wide)…can somebody double check my math? 🙂

  10. I LOVE this; it is so adorable. The pattern is great, much better with the hexies on point, and I love how the fabric will show up prettily.

  11. Jenny, Do you have any instructions on quilting with octagons. It seems that it would be different than working with hexagons.

  12. Love Jenny! She does not sweat the small stuff. A very important quality for a quilter to possess😘😘😘

  13. Jenny, I'm wondering if the outside template of the Quilt as you Go Hexagon could be used for the colored hexi and then just snowball the corners with the background material. I'm thinking it would cut down on some of the cutting and sewing. What's your take on this?

  14. I’m going to try this with the large half hexie in Christmas colors!
