Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is planning to develop a garden on a 40-acre plot in Dahisar, which is the largest yet in suburban Mumbai. “BMC will buy the land from Airport Authority of India (AAI) for approximately ₹473 crore,” Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said. The plot of land was earlier marked out to build a metro car shed for MMRDA.
