This year I planted a second batch of sweet potato slips on August 20th, so today it has been 120 days and it is time to do some digging to see if I will have any sweet potatoes for Christmas. It is only about a dozen slips in a bed that is 42 inches in diameter, so I can’t really expect a huge harvest. But it will be nice to get enough for my Christmas dinner.
