It was a full day on the ranch today. We did a little more Christmas baking, fed some pigs and started working on our indoor row room. I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Momma Pig loves when you visit her Chelsea. She grunts and looks at you. So sweet. I am loving those little piglets. Glad you are getting paining completed for your grow room. Have a great rest of your day 12-23-22.

  2. Oh them pigs are adorable❣️🐷I Love your channel!! MERRY CHrISTMAS to you and your family❣️🎅🏻

  3. Oh my those piglets,,,so stinkin cute, your basement is really coming along. I love how you guys decide to do something and do it. The grow room is going to be fab. I had e talked about growing micro green during the winter as well but haven’t tried it yet. But maybe I will inspired by you once again and do it. Love the gingerbread cookie cutter Dan. Hahahah it’s great. Well best run and take my gingerbread cake out of the oven. Merry Christmas to you all. ❄️🎄❄️

  4. Your piglets are so cute 🐖 We (in the UK) call an overgrown/big courgette/zucchini a marrow and they are mainly used in soup or stews 👍

  5. It’s the coldest day it’s been here in Texas and it’s still about 40 degrees warmer than where you are 😂 sending you and the fam love & warmth. 🫶🏽

  6. Watching this while making peanut butter blossom cookies. I’ve coated the kisses in red candy coating and am going to pipe white around the bottom and a ball at the point. I have little holly-shaped sprinkles to put in the white band. Pretty proud that I came up with the idea myself. (Break arm patting own back…lol). So happy I retired last January!

  7. Our pipes froze last night and that's with one night of 7 degrees fahrenheit. We turned on a space heater and faced it at the pipes and voila, water again. The problem comes when we have several days below freezing. I plan on keeping the space heater going for a few days. Thanks for showing us all of the things, those piglets are adorable!

  8. I totally enjoyed it!! Here in South Louisiana it rarely freezes but we got down to 15° F & winds were 25 mph with 90% humidity so it was insane. Today we won't get above freezing & will be 20°F tonight & it will be like this for a few days. I do love snow with low humidity

  9. I would absolutely love a clothing video going over the appropriate clothes needed for your climate/area. We hit -35° F wind chill yesterday and into this morning. While we have clothes that will keep us warm to tend to the animals, it's layers on layers on layers. We are contending with freezing pipes in our home right now, do you have to do any prep work for your home?

  10. I loved seeing those sweet piglets and now I just might whip up a batch of gingerbread myself. Delicious!! Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤

  11. Did you lose several piglets? We thought there were 8 or 9.

  12. I’m just loving your channel so much my friend… that Wood cook stove is my Dream! Keep posting the precious piglet updates… you’ve got us hooked!!!

  13. The house I grew up in had a wood/coal chute! We had a fireplace, so every fall stacked wood that we threw down the chute! I was blessed that my walk-in closet was against the chimney, so I could get dressed in the warmth!
Oh, funny story- the wood chute came in handy when we locked ourselves out of the house! Being the smallest, I got to crawl thru the chute into the wood room, then go unlock the front door. 🙂

  14. Way to be resourceful, Dan! lol I'm always amazing at how much you get done in a day! Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family. xo

  15. I’m excited for your grow room! I love growing from seed-homemade tastes better! And we always hear about lettuce being contaminated, so homegrown is a lot more comfortable.

  16. LOVE the little gingerbread man! Little things like this make everything special at Christmas. Good for the memories! I would be so excited, also, if I were getting a grow room – so happy for you! Merry Christmas.

  17. Piglets are adorable! I make gingerbread cookies every Christmas. Our nasty temps have now risen to a balmy -18C. Good luck with the grow room. Happy Holidays! 👍😎🇨🇦🎅🎄🎁🙏

  18. 20 degrees inside is warm? Ohymygoodness! I can't even comprehend how hard of a life style that is. You always work so hard. Bless you and merry Christmas!

  19. Had a real feel of -12f last night in North Central Arkansas… burrr can't imagine the temps where you are even after moving south from South East Michigan and that was too cold for me there after many yrs I needed the southern warmth. Thankfully the cold blast will last a few short days when we are supposed to get back up to 60f in a few days…
