  1. What a great idea. An idea for the plastic tag: An eyelet at the top with a string attached to it and the tag. And then a pocket for the tag. Thanks

  2. This was a perfectly timed video as I was just researching pre-made garden journals yesterday. You have inspired me to make my own. I love all the hand drawn pieces.

  3. Your container garden journal is fantastic and fun. Can't wait to see your next installment. Congrats on your hand drawed pics. Super cute. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Fabulous book ๐Ÿ˜ I know exactly how delighted you are to have a garden. I went 17 years & now I have one. It's mainly pebbled, but I added containers & a vegetable bed with recycled tubs for potatoes. I might have to create a small book to record all the growing. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

  5. how about using a string or clear fishing line? Punch a hole in the label to thread the string thru and then attach with one of your stickers to the top of the page and for added security small a strip as a tuck spot to keep it from flying out all the time. That way you can see the back anytime you want. or you could create a clear pocket, maybe cut the front down a bit to give easy access to the label. Hope you didn't mind the suggestions. I just love watching you.

  6. This is lovely, and such a good idea! I have a garden journal I started a couple years ago and add to it all the time. God bless and stay safe.

  7. Thank you so much Cat, thatโ€™s just the sweetest little journal ๐Ÿ“” Iโ€™ve ever seen. I really really enjoyed watching you create those two pageโ€™s. And itโ€™s a lovely lovely way to record your thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ and feelingโ€™s towards certain things you buy, and how they performed in your garden. Everything about it is so very very fresh and joyful. I really really love โค๏ธ it. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

  8. Love what you have done so far, What about attaching the plant label with embroidery thread and then stick under a red bow to secure it to the page. That would look really sweet.

  9. I am new to journalKing. I love that u r teaching me, as u work on urs. U have a talent or sketching, balancing a pages etc. I look forward to u adding to ur pages. ๐Ÿ’—

  10. Enjoyed watching your video hope your garden is doing well itโ€™s so interesting to watch plants grow I have always garden and rooted plants I have just started journaling so I am finding it fun to combine the two

  11. I believe others have already mentioned it, but I was thinking a pocket for your plastic tag would be perfect or a little tuck spot. Also you could put a hole with an eyelet in it to attach to your page. Like you would a charm. Another cute idea is to attach a tassel with a string attached to the tag and use it like a bookmark with the tassel hanging outside your book with the tag inside your page. This journal is adorable. You are so artistic! I am always drawn to how colorful your pages are ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. We are just ( August last year) moved out to the country side from the big city..it is only 30 min in car but a world of differents. We have a big garden with 8 Appel trees and we would like to be self-sufficient with vegetables. But we have to learn everything and what a wonderful journey ๐Ÿ˜€
Of course I want to document it and write tips and what we have done wrong so I can remember it to last year. But I have struggling with first find my mojo after moving. Then both finding the time to craft and how to make a garden book. I have found a old small ring bound ๐Ÿ“’that was perfect. But then I was stock. ๐Ÿ™
Thanks for sharing your garden book๐Ÿ“•. I can use so many of your tips and ways to make the pages.
Lots of love from Denmark to you ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒธ

  13. Lovely book Cat! If you donโ€™t mind me asking, Iโ€™d love to vicariously enjoy your garden by hearing what you have planted in it. I tried growing a few herbs, grape and yellow pear tomatoes, a bell pepper, and 2 different varieties of chilies peppers in big pots on my front porch last year, but they didnโ€™t bear very well. Maybe they didnโ€™t get enough sun? Itโ€™s so frustrating gardening in Southern Nevada! I look forward to seeing you fill this book with happy gardening memories. Do your grandchildren enjoy gardening with you? My oldest granddaughter and I used to plant all of my front porch flowerpots together during her spring break every year. I wish I had a little journal full of pictures of those lovely times!

  14. Your style of journaling is so inspiring! And to make messy things – no stress, thank you for saying that๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘
