Do you want free strawberry plants? You can do this – Root the runners!

1️⃣ Prune the dry leaves so all the energy goes into growing the runners, not dead leaves (gotta love the @hoselinkusa pink pruners!)
2️⃣ Place runner in soil (leave it attached to parent plant).
3️⃣ Pin in place w/ a bobby pin.
4️⃣ After a few weeks, roots will establish, detach from parent plant.

That’s such a creative way to propagate strawberries it reminds me of the air layering technique but without the cut
