Gardens by the Bay opened in 2012. Built on 101 hectares of prime land in the heart of Singapore’s new downtown, it had been a bold but tough decision to establish the national garden and bring to life the vision of Singapore being a City in a Garden.
10 years on, the Gardens has rewarded that boldness, rising from barren reclaimed land to become one of the most talked about engineering and horticultural marvels in the world. It is now a major tourist destination, welcoming millions of visitors each year.

Hope gardens b y the bay team can create a durian farm to showcase durian fruit loved by Singaporeans and many more nationalities who come to Singapore to eat this fruit. keeping my fingers crossed this .
