I live in the Midwest in the U.S. in a small town surrounded by farm land yet we have so many shortages and prices are way more than London, go figure. Everything was so quaint and Christmacy. Food in the UK is astronomically expensive. For12euro in Spain you can have a 3 course lunch..starter, bread maincourse, a glass of wine and desert . A coffee costs approx 2 euro, a glass of wine 2,50…a meal for two with wine 40euro and groceries are 24% cheaper. You can expect to spend around 10-15 euros for fresh vegetables at the local markets. A bottle of gas is 18 euros and electrity is about 100-150 a month and water 70 euros depending on usage.

I very much enjoy your vlogs. Itโs like taking a mini vacation but without leaving your home. Obviously the market is very much a tourist destination as I saw the price of a sausage roll for ยฃ5. When converted to AUD itโs $9! It would have to taste amazing for that price. Don't know if he's still there but there was a couple of guys selling a mushroom pate. It was unbelievable and I eat meat. And I've had that fudge, it's so good but deadly! And of course Bread Ahead doughnuts.

Enjoy Borough Market but just too busy most of the time. I go to Greenwich Market often, not foodcentric but still good. Based on food cost comparison vlogs, British food prices are much lower than the US, even with inflation.

Hi pretty lady, been following your channel for about two years now. Iโm from Los Angeles California. Really enjoy your videos, you record things so very detailed especially with prices. Really useful. In one of your questions about if the food in the UK is expensive or cheap. Well, Iโve dined just about everywhere upscale over here and honestly the food prices is very cheap compared to food in Southern California. Even one of your videos at the Ritz hotel. It looks very upscale and still the prices is still cheaper than here. For like a piece of steak at a 5 star restaurant like Mastros Steak house in Beverly Hills is about $100 or over. Well, keep up the great videos! ๐
