  1. do you need to buy a special walking foot for your type of machine or will they work interchangeably. ??
and as far as this fabric…worked with this fabric before and did not like it- results fine but too fussy. – especially when you can't iron it.

  2. Absolutely PRECIOUS creation. IT IS EASY & SIMPLY ADORABLE. THANX 4 SHARING YOUR TUTORIAL . GOD BLESS U & YOUR COMPANY

  3. hi! I had a quick question. I bought the cuddle kit and am about to buy the backing fabric. Do you think I could put flannel as the backing instead of minky? And if so would that change anything in terms of sewing it together?

  4. Wow that is so good and to video and deal with the fabric is hard work so thank you Jenny. Would you be able to do a video all about working with cuddle fabric / minky / fleece not necessary make a quilt just hints tips and washing. Some say you must wash first some say not, there is so much conflicting advice about dealing and working with these fabrics I feel you would be the best person to do this. Love the video Thank you

  5. I am going to make 5 of these for Christmas for my nephews and my sons. I do not plan on using batting, just cuddle on cuddle. Are there any tips I need to know about? I am hoping it goes together fairly easily!

  6. How about using your glue stick instead of the glue spray to hold down those strips? I would also draw a line denoting the middle of quilt so you don't have to keep finding the middle of the strip on the quilt top. Also, I would denote on the batting the direction of the nap so you make sure the strips are going in the correct nap direction.

  7. I've made several baby blankets using that cuddle fabric, and while it is super soft and adorable, it's a PAIN to sew. Lots of pins and a walking foot are definitely key as I've found the fabric likes to slip and stretch as you sew it.

  8. I would have moved the machine onto the CUTTING table, more room! Well watching to the end, I see u did! U r the best Jenny! HAPPY New Year it's now 2018 !!

  9. Love your cuddle quilt. The pillow and elephant are both darling. Do you have a quick tutorial for the pillow? Maybe some directions and measurements we could print? Thanks, Deb

  10. I bought one of these kits and ended up throwing it away. I wish I would have seen this tutorial before because I really did like the cuddle material.

  11. I bought a cuddle quilt kit over 10 years ago and have yet to make it . This video is so helpful. Did you use a topstitch needle?

  12. Thanks for this tutorial. I'm currently making a cuddle quilt for a new grandchild and your hints have really helped me. Can't wait to see you on Jenny On The Road tonight!

  14. P.S. I just love watching you make Quilts, you make everything seem so easy and fun! I just can’t wait to make Quilts after watching you explain how to make a quilt.. Thank You Very Much! Til next Time 🤓

  15. So beautiful! I am still not sure how the binding works…As in stitches showing on the right side! I will search to see if you have a tutorial on that method x

  16. I am getting ready to sew with cuddle for the first time. I always have trouble judging the width of the seam allowance when I use my walking foot so I think that I am going to take the time to use my ruler and chalk marker and draw 1/2" seam allowance lines in from both cut edges of my strips to keep my seam allowances straight as I sew them onto the quilt top. Also I read on Shannon fabric website that using a Schmetz 90/14 stretch needle is helpful to prevent skipped stitches but I bet that since there is batting in there, any 90/14 or larger universal needle would work since there are so many layers to sew through.

  17. Such beautiful work 🥰. Thank you for this video. Love the kit you made. 👍🏼

  18. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of sewing in creating everything so beautifully. Can't thank you enough and your work is beautiful!

  19. use press and seal sheets that you use in the kitchen to cover dishes you want to refrigerate.. it keeps the dust from going everywhere and you can sew over it and it peels right off when you're done…

  20. Que trabalho lindo… Obrigada pelas dicas… Acompanho os vídeos, fico encantada com os quilts… 🤩
