  1. You can save some cash when filling your bed by using brush you can pick up from your woods to fill the bottom third to half of the bed, then add your soil mix on top. The brush provides aeration and drainage, and will break down in just a few years.
I did this on four 4×4' raised beds I had when I had a small yard. I used a bale of pro-mix blended with compost from the heap to fill them, and the space provided by the brush reduced the amount of mix I needed to use.
    Looking great, Mr. D!
Oh, by the way, hasenpfeffer is delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹!

  2. Thanks for the video. I meant to request after the last vlog: since you do the maintenance on yours and your daughter's lawn mowers, could you do a video on how to best sharpen the blades? I have no problem with plugs, oil and air filters, but I don't do a very good job of sharpening the blades. I've learned NOT to use a rotary grinder on them, I can tell you that! But also having watched your ability with the saw, it could be my technique which screws up my efforts, just like with cutting wood.

  3. Ovi how is this kid the YouTuber from Puerto Rico doing ?He hasnโ€™t posted anything ,Iโ€™m worried about the dogs specially gusto

  4. Hi Ovi thanks for posting the video. You learned the same way I did about the tork head screws. Many years ago I got a soar shoulder pushing in those Phillips head regular screws lol! till I seen a video of someone building a deck and using those tork head screws and seeing how easy they were to screw in. been using them since. Glad to see everything moving along in your homestead now that the weather is getting better. My grandkids are waiting for updates on the chicks by the way. Well Ovi, Lot of luck and blessing to you and your family Luis From Paterson N.J. orig. from Orocovis PR.
