  1. Merry Christmas to Al and family ✝🌬🌠🙏👍….l am in my 80's and have no family at all passed on wife kids aunts uncles on both sides for one reason or another……..
    Shoe🇺🇸

  2. Al , Didn't you install '' Fart Fans'' in the Bathrooms that are suppose to Exhaust the Poo Poo Odors out of the Bathrooms to an Vented outside 3 '' ducted hood much like a Dryer Vent ??

  3. The tree and the wreath are so beautiful Gina! You are gifted. Hope you get that "gas" problem taken care of. Let us know.
Blessings to you all at Christmas.

  4. Fine Business! I was writting this when you mentioned the cats.Co-insidently I was about to say tie it secure so the cat doesnt tip it over. That happened at my sister"s one year.CHEERS from Snowy Sooke. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  5. Merry Christmas to you Al, Gina, and Olivia! Regarding the gate sweep, the zip ties should do okay in the cold and snow. However they will eventually fail in a few months' time as the sun's UV rays degrade the plastic. Zip ties only last one growing season on my garden trellises before they start to break away.

  6. Just a suggestion but during the warmer months you should hang your clothes outside in the sun to dry. Saves heaps on power not running the dryer. I don’t own a dryer and in the winter I hang my clothes on an airer in my family room and the warm inside air dries them. I refuse to use a dryer because the clothes wear out so much quicker and they shrink.

  8. The new window looks AWESOME..BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS Tree and the wreath …GREAT VIDEO GUYS 👍🇨🇦🇺🇸❤🙏🎄

  9. I wouldn’t let your cats go in the drier, our cat decided to take a nap in the drier between loads and we didn’t know she jumped in there, turned it on, the drier is in the basement so we didn’t hear anything, needless to say she met a very brutal end

  10. They do make metal zipt ies, if your worried about the plastic ones wearing out from temperature and UV damage…

  11. In the four years that we had goats we never had an issue with the cattle wire we used. T post cattle wire and we never electrified the fence. A baby got out one time but she got right back in because Mom was on the other side. We only had to fix it once which they tested it infrequently but it never gave. I'm highly dubious about your fence but got to use what you got to use I guess. We went a more expensive method and never had an issue.

  12. Hi Al, Gina and Olivia! Al, you were worried about running dryer in summer. You can use nature's dryer – a clothesline! My mom and grandma hung out clothes from late April through October. She even hung them out on good days in November. There is nothing like fresh dried laundry! 👍🥰🌬️🧺

  13. Hi guys you have solved one problem but you have created two others which can potentially cause your system to fail . I am a certified plumber (BS) and, i have been following your build from inception including the plumbing layout and you have your vent running horizontally in your attic and with the size piping you used which is 3" there might be a section of that piping that might have a slight droop in the run to retain water that can build up over time creating a blockage , that water will come from heavy rain or snowfall. secondly is the stack end, you cut it square which. will attract birds to build nest and debris from said nest will fall down into the bend creating another blockage over time. My suggestion to you, and what your (building code require) is that you use a 45 or90° elbow which will keep the pipe dry and the birds away .

  14. you have a good flow of water. You can also add Hydro electricity as another form of making free electricity that flows all year long. for those non sunny days. I follow another channel that made his. showing the the past five years of upgrades, learning what works and not works…

  15. Oh yeah, pigging back on what martinwood said below. You need to have rain cover too so water doesn't collect in bottom of pipe.

  16. Merry Christmas guys. The picture is so you guys. I just love your animals. They all have such personalities. Looks like Tanner knocked you out of your front seat in the side by side there Gina. Glad you are feeling better

  17. Exquisite music at 16:15. A different and nice change to the video. What a wonderful ride through the back woods. The cow painting is just right for the kitchen. Slowly, the pieces come together for a more settled living environment. One thing you might consider is creating a small pond for ice skating.

  18. That was funny, but glad you could get it fixed. Just wondering why you wouldn’t hang clothes outside in the summer to dry rather than a dryer.

  19. There's a channel called wild wonderful off grid you guys might give them a shout out and ask them how they run there dryer with in there off grid home

  20. How about fixing you a hanging racks close to the warm windows and dry your clothes that way lot cheaper a little more work but if you use fabric softener they will come out good someone may need a little ironing but be sure to shake them real hard before you hang them up while they're wet better get all the wrinkles out good luck Merry Christmas

  21. Sewer vents should be above the roof line, don't need to be large and should have a weather entry protection on the top to stop rain and snow entry. How high above the roof depends on the local plumbing regulations.

  22. Hi… AL and Gina nice to see you love watching your videos homestead beautiful good job 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👸👨‍👩‍👧👕👓🐩🐔🐓🐣🐥🐕🐈🐐🐖🐝🐠🐟🎣 🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
