Improvements To Winterizing My Pergola Oasis

Thinking of building a backyard pergola? Are you looking for ideas to enjoy your backyard space year-round? Then you’re at the right video! Four years ago I had a pergola built, and year I make improvements to winterizing my pergola oasis. Along the way I learn how I can make it easier to transform the space from a summer haven into a cozy winter oasis. This time around, I’ve got some new design changes and installation tips you’ll want to see. It’s all just part of getting up, getting out, and getting active – to enjoy the rewards that a bit of effort provides.

  1. Hi Juanita. Those entry doors with the windows look fabulous. They sure did make a difference from the inside also. Your little getaway sure looks cozy and with all those clear vinyl tarps you can still enjoy the outdoors. All you need is a hot cup of tea, warm cookies right out of the oven and a good book…that's my kind of relaxing day. TFS

  2. Looks cozy. Sorry I don't know what they are called, but remember that my Dad had something that had grommet clasps where the barrel popped up through the grommet, folded back down flat to hold the tarp into place. It possibly was a military vehicle but 55 -60 years ago. Maybe someone else will know what they are.
