  1. On top of the cold weather coming in, I am in your growing area as you know. I plan on covering my plants up to protect as much as possible….it is critical that we keep at growing our own food no matter what. I have a green house just haven't put it up yet, but will in the future. The weather is dramatically changing and we must stay in tune to it for growing food. I am changing my method of food growing operation, I am now focusing more on things I like to eat versus trying too many different things. I too have fruit trees and will cover those that may be sensitive to cold. Will check out your kohlrabi video as I am growing it as well! Good luck

  2. Ms. JC, thank you for this video because you just reminded me that this cold snap is coming. Luckily, here Miami we are "only" getting to 44 degrees they say. But still I have to bring in some pots or cover some of my plants. No worries, I've been lazy too when it comes to gardening (rather I've been super busy with other stuff). Thank goodness it's been raining and that's how my plants have been getting water. I know it's bad. I want to take this time to wish you and yours the very best. My regards to your camera man. Take care, stay safe and try to stay warm. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! – Nancy ❤

  3. Thanks for the video. I don't think of freezing temps in Florida. I'm in Dallas, TX. Earlier this year, we had a crazy freeze. It killed half of my plants. So this time I made a mini hoop house to see if I can keep them alive. Might wrap the plants with some Christmas lights to keep them warm. We're supposed to drop to 9 degrees.

  4. Happy Holidays Beautiful SoilSista… 20° here in Savannah Georgia also zone 8B. Our tomato plants are flowering so beautifully also. Ugh! Old Man Frost is come tho. We are so thankful for the crop we've produced so far and will continue to produce after the winter. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden and yes Ma'am prepared 🙏🏾
