Unique Edible Plants of the Bay Area



Follow us along as we take you into the world of edibles. There a good amount in the bay area but these once I decide are pretty Unique, historically and where it stands as an edible.

Disclaimer: Always important to not eat anything in the wild you don’t know. Have a plant expert take you out and learn these plants before eating them. Study the plants get a full understanding of what plants your eating. There are many plants that look alike out there. You do not want to eat something that could case, a stomach ache, flue, sickens or even death.

  1. “Learn your plants” he said it all in a not shell! I didn’t know they had red elderberries I’ve only seen them purple so we must’ve seen the right ones ha ha elderberries really good For you I always do elderberry tincture’s when I’m starting to get sick and it keeps it from attacking my system! Great stuff! Man this guys got a Lotta knowledge!!

  2. Hmmm are those "Red Elderberry" actually the Toyon Berry I've read those unripe are poisonous

  3. Wow really cool. I feel like that statement about responsible harvesting should be earlier in the video. Would also love book recommendations and resources for this subject of you have any.
