  1. Absolutely beautiful video, loved this! So inspirational and informative, perhaps small individual sections of frieze would be an option? This was a truly a joy to watch.

  2. I love watching your videos! The way you narrate everything makes the videos more interesting to watch.. I really loved the idea of the library. A barrel ceiling would be Amazing!! It might sound strange, but the part I loved the most in your library creation is the painting and the use of dictionary pages… I used to practice mixed media art and using old dictionary pages and streaky paints to create a textured background were my favorite things to do. Your video inspired me to start making art again after not doing anything in the last 3 years.
Please keep making more videos like this along with your gardening ones…

  3. Parabéns. I hope you take the winter months to focus on the interiors of your amazing house. Your channel is much more than a suburban homestead showcase of garden and home — it's a way to live with both beauty and an environmental ethic. And you show us that anyone can do it with a little inspiration and a few good tools. Maravilhoso.

  4. Hey Neighbor (i live in the Baltimore area too) that room at the Walter's is one of my favorites. You did a fantastic job on the library!

  5. Perfect. I like the use of the upper space without the dome. It looks just right with the collection of art and object of art on display. This inspires me to elevate my own fledgling library space. I’ve often admired the lovely interiors as a backdrop to your videos.

  6. Yes revive those ideas! That sounds so unique and interesting! Houses are so boring these days, go crazy!

  7. Oh hey, when you talk of a canvas rug, do you mean an oil cloth? They used to be common in kitchens, dining rooms, butler's pantries etc.

  8. Yes! I like your garden videos but I’m always have been intrigued by your house, such a beautiful building.I love Victorian houses ❤,they have so much history and detail

  9. This is fantastic! I'm so happy you included info about how you work and graphics illustrating the underlying principals of proportion and balance that you adhere to. Just terrific. I would love it if you would do even more videos in this same vein.

  10. Love the video. The barrel ceiling would look amazing. I think the closets (if not used to store clothing) would look great with the drapes tied back and the inner space turned into more shelves or a small writing desk. Just a thought. The videos are so well done. Thank you for posting.

  11. The barrel ceiling is a yes for me!

Or actually maybe not. After I saw the final look I liked the stuff you put on the shelf up there

  12. The library room has a great ambiance. Thank you for sharing your design inspiration, thought process, and the implementation of your vision.

  13. Very nice Siloe. I was going to say the barrel ceiling would be the best until I saw what you did end up doing. So cozy and warm. I have been hoping for a video from you. This was just right. I wonder how you designed your kitchen? That would be what I would love to see next. I have ideas about what I would like to try. Even though each design is a personal choice I get such inspiration from you. Thank you.

  14. Hi Siloe, I love this. I hope you do more interior videos. The book pages wallpaper idea is so clever. What a lovely atmosphere for reading! ~ Jennifer

  15. I don't usually take time to comment on videos, but I will now because YES to more indoor videos like this one! I love your gardening videos, but you just stole my heart with a library!

  16. PS: I agree with you, I'm not a fan of the rag rug, and yes an Oriental rug would definitely look more appropriate, have you consider a Ruggable rug? They're pricey, but they are machine washable!

  17. Great video , loved your attention to detail. We need more content please 🙏
