Backyard Organic Gardening in Boston City | Urban gardening

Backyard Organic Gardening in Boston City | Urban gardening

One of the craziest thing I’ve every done in Boston, Feeding chicken is actually easier than i expected. Don grew up having chicken so it was a breeze for him, Afterwards we went to our home garden to get fresh 100% organic vegetables which we started a few months ago during quarantine. This is our first time doing backyard organic gardening and it turned out really successful. We started off with small containers we found around the house utilizing all the available patio space and stair case. It eventually grew so fast that we had to replant most in out limited yard space. Living in the city it’s not impossible to have a garden and what we did was living proof.
These are just GARDENING HACKS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW we planted most of our vegetables in cups we have laying around in the house bought a bag of soil and just planted what we wanted. We saved the seeds after we go food shopping thus eliminating the need to buy seeds in store. If you have no space at home no problem get a few five gallon bucket you can put on your patio on your porch on your steps there is always a way to start a garden. Some of our vegetables grew too much and had to be transplanted to the soil around our house so be mindful when planting, Don’t want your plants to be running through your neighbors windows.

  2. Very interesting πŸ€” lol I would be too scared to feed chickens πŸ˜‚ You were like back up πŸ˜‚ That’s so me!.. I would love to have a garden like that.. We just don’t have the backyard space for it right now.

  3. I grow a few things out back too. Mostly scotch bonnet peppers, bananas/plantains, cane, dweet potatoes, beans and tomatoes. A relaxing pastime for real AND you get to eat what you grow πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
