City officials and activists in Washington D.C. work to supply residents of the national capital with fresh food. This community garden is one of the few sources of fresh food in this ward despite its proximity to the White House, and some of the America’s most wealthy neighbourhoods.

Of course the country that held slaves for 400 years, imprison the most people in the world, is currently an Apartheid State, will not have fresh food 3 miles from the presidential mansion, otherwise known as the the "White Man's House", or simply "white house" for short.
