  1. My taters in grow bags are 3 feet high over top. My first time and I’m so excited!!! Only have 2 bags to test but gonna start more

  2. Y'all are gonna be so glad that you planted that many potatoes!! We now have a global 'potato' shortage'!!
Family members were laughing at my sister & me for peeling & canning over a hundred pounds of potatoes!!
We just laughed right back & said these potatoes sure are gonna be good this winter!! Makes for an easy meal!! Already cooked, can eat them right out of the can in a grid down shtf situation!! Keep prepping & growing food my friends!!

  3. That's great at least someone can get a garden in and growing it won't stop to raining here in the upper Midwest the rivers are out of the banks flooding over all land more rain today and Thursday it's so wet here that the ground can't soak up the water im getting very angry 😡

  4. Your plants look very healthy — so lush and green. Hope you get half-a-ton of taters!!!
We're growing Red Pontiacs, Yukon Gold, and White Kennebecs. We'll do a fall crop, too.

I've grown store-bought fingerlings before and they do fine. Usually we do seed potatoes, or hold some back from a previous year to grow.

  5. Since there are none to buy in the garden stores I am going to try and grow the grocery store ones. Nice crop Jeff.

  6. Free mulch tip, used drop leaves from trees they make great free mulch, I put them around my roses and other plants they love it!

  7. Those tater plants of yours look pretty good, Jeff! Before you know it, you'll be slicing and dicing for dehydrating! And maybe freezing them. I'm growing tomatoes, all different colors of bell peppers, cucumbers, herbs and hope to get some zucchini and yellow squash planted soon, too! Spinach and different types of lettuces, and beets. I'll think of more. This is the first year I'm doing more than tomatoes and peppers. We'll see how it goes! TFS and have a great night!

  8. Never grew potatoes before and I am trying now…do I keep putting soil on the plant as it grows? Any useful gardening tips would be appreciated
