Harvesting Ebi Imo (Shrimp Potato) in Kyoto, Japan | Farm life in Japan

In this video, I’m in Japan helping my father-in-law harvest ebi imo, a type of taro root, used in special dishes. He owns a farm where he grows many kinds of veggies and sells them.

For more info on ebi imo, see https://www.japanese-wiki-corpus.org/culture/Ebi-imo%20(shrimp%20potato).html

Special thanks to my 9-year old daughter, Misaki-chan, for taking the video while her papa was hard at work in the field!
