  1. Pie filling a little on some bread/rolls/toast then get canned coconut cream. The cream not the milk. It can be whipped like regular cream but it's not sweet so will offset the pie filling. Of course you can ramp up the cream with a bit of vanilla. Sweet treats I believe are necessary for sanity and a sense of normalcy. Especially if you have children.

  2. Thanks brother- been stacking protein, along with silver for a while. Keep those dry store (pasta/rice etc) topped up as well / volume is your friend. What about freezing dairy product!, such as milk and cheese?

  3. I used to think Spam was really disgusting, then started buying some for long-term storage, thinking I would only eat it in an absolute emergency. Out of the can, it is pretty disgusting, but I tried slicing into 1/4 inch slabs and frying it, and IMO it's actually pretty good. I now have over 90 cans stored, and add a few every week when I go food shopping.

There's a lot of ways it can be used, including cut into cubes, fried, and added to soup, in a sandwich, and maybe, ground into burgers…I'll have to try that this weekend.

It comes in 3 flavors – classic, bacon, and turkey, plus a lower sodium version. If I ran out of bacon I wouldn't hesitate to substitute bacon flavored fried Spam. I would suggest you buy one first and experiment with it to see if it's for you.

I also have lots of canned chicken. I'm not crazy about the consistency, but it does make good sandwiches when mixed with mayo.

As far as sugar and caffeine, I'm also stocking up on hot chocolate mix, because I'm convinced that someday coffee may be unavailable or just way too expensive for the average person. It doesn't have as much caffeine as coffee, but it's usually enough to keep me from falling asleep, and it will help satisfy that coffee craving.

  4. We LOVE SPAM! It's not potted meat. SPAM stands for Spiced Ham and they now have SPAM Lite. We make sandwiches, add it to pea and macaroni salad, add it to baked beans, soups, 15 bean soup, fry it for breakfast, etc. The Hawaiians discovered SPAM during WWII and to this day they love it and even have restaurants that specialize in it. I have 3 cookbooks on SPAM from Hawaii. Ain't no shame in this game!! LOL!

  5. Hey Colby, this video was such a good idea to help people that don't live rurally, and that might not have a lot of money. Spam has really gone up in price, along with other canned meat. Peanut butter is calorie dense and I like it quite a bit.

  6. How can you not love spam… My brother in law works for a plant that makes spam and got me 20 cans of spam for only $1 per can.. yummy

  7. Uhg! I can't stand SPAM! So gross. I always said it was made from all the stuff swept up off the butcher's floor. LOL! However, in a life or death situation we might be surprised at what we will eat when starving. Colby, I did notice one thing you left out of that list is VIENNA SAUSAGES. They are actually quite tasty split in half and fried in a little butter. Great video for those city dwellers. God bless y'all!

  8. For those who don't know how to cook start printing out simple recipes. Beans and rice will do you no good if you can't prepare them on a stove. And try to find recipes that don't need hard to find things like eggs.

  9. Do you know how long the canned chicken and tuna last? Thank you for thinking of us older city people!

  10. Lower sodium spam is better. Also Turkey spam is good. Regular spam should be sliced then soaked in clean water for an hour changing water half way. Then fried makes ham substitute and easier on high BP issues.

  11. I believe the Time of Trouble will be soon! The Biden Administration is openly blaspheming against God; same sex marriage; transgender young children by surgery and drugs; openly in public using God’s name in public; Biden having sex with his daughter. Our Creator Jesus Christ will destroy Washington DC because it’s corruption!

  12. I hate tuna but been weight training and needed more protein. The flavored packets of tuna are really good and like $1.20. I eat it right out of the packet. Never thought I’d do that lol.

  13. I agree with your comment about stockpiling food being an investment, as long as it’s being stored properly. What I mean by that is one time we had a big loss because we weren’t really organizing our cupboards with shelflife dates in mind. Storage systems are important. Especially if you’re being very creative about utilizing space for storage. System we use is to write with a big sharpie on the front of all of our cans the year that is the shelf life date for example 25. That way if we want to grab a can we can look for the one with the smallest number. It would be a cool thing to have a video on. Thanks for the work

  14. Unless you are bedridden you can grow at least some of your veggies. I'm in a wheelchair and i grow as much of my veggies as possible. I have 4. 12'×3' beds that are raised tall enough for me to use without help.

  15. ugh canned tuna AKA canned mercury.. recently a government agency put it under a microscope and it's now also loaded with plastics. So a good protein that's loaded with deadly mercury and plastics no thank you. I'll eat my beans and get lots of protein.

  16. There will be many thinking we might be crazy but this has to be said. There is the elderly, the disabled and many of us who don't even have room to store up anything, nor the money, living day to day.

Then there are those who have worked all their life to get what they have, and can easily lose it all to those who come to steal, kill and destroy. Our families, our life, our country is in trouble.

We find the government hasn't been telling us the truth, well neither have the churches. The lies and deceptions are coming from all angles. But as always our God shows us a way out, as always.

When using the wisdom we can find from the Bible, we have found that Our Father has given us His way of helping and protecting us. We are told to do the first works, sending us back to the O.T.? Searching those Scriptures we find that He has given us His Word. Not once, not twice, not even just three times but many times over.

Our Father spoke, wrote, and made His Word flesh. This Word we speak of is the Ten Commandments. Spoken, written, and Jesus. Jesus was The Law that hung on the cross. He is The Law written on many hearts. All through the Scriptures we are told to "keep" the commandments. Many know this, we tried to memorize them, but the problem is we were never told how. Then we find in Deut.6:8-9 how to "keep them. At the end of that chapter we are told He will preserve our life. So He will add to our life. His Word is life.

Then Jesus tells us that if we love Him to keep His word and dwell in His love, as He dwelt in His Father's. Again sending us to the O.T.. So we can take the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, bind them and apply as instructed. We can allow God to preserve and protect us. Give it a try, what do we have to lose, besides everything? Their words are truth, love and life please dwell in them. Follow His instructions in Deut. 6:8-9. May our God go with us all.

  17. No way on chick pea,s. Yuk.even pea,s.hi Mac..have a bless day can you eat sweet potato leaves.ok.thanks
